Excellent job. I was going to spend 16000 on a great mill from COOK saw the MF32 I think. Anyway. Went to order it. 80 weeks out. Well I can build anything and have the means so after watching you and a couple others I thought what the heck. I am going to start a blog like yours but it will cover many more aspects of many things in life.

You said it takes you a long time to make things. You can make a jig for parts that repeat. You drew out a drawing of the final assembly of the frame. You could have made a jig for one side of the frame. You use that jig to make all the sides of the frame. Of course the opposite side is the same just flipped over. The jig saves time and makes parts a standard size. All eight sides of the frame could be made quickly and perfectly matching. Love your work man you are really a good fabricator. Also when it comes to painting. A media blaster is much faster for paint prep. It does a better job too. You can strip rust as fast as you can point a gun. You should build one. They are persnickety to use and take a while to learn how. But after you get them to work good they are super fast.

Hi! Nice work. Maybe some hook in the middle of crane would be good? Becose when dump box is up its front wooden part has contact with metal wire (?) from whinch. If you have hook and metal wire goes through the hook you wont have such a problem. Hook in the midle of crane can help for other applications too, I think. Hope it could help! All the best for Estonian neighbor from Latvia :) !

I have similar type trailer but mine is only 2' at bottom base and 7'-6"long, my removable elbow stakes are at 90* over tires, roughly 4' wide at top, so I have to use expensive sheet metal. Therefore I need and want a scissors lift design, off a 4' high-ish front post, run cable down around a pulley under box to a scissor like apparatus that I cant figure out............. Maybe i should just start over with a bigger trailer.....
@genegoodman52335 жыл бұрын
You did a great job building the trailer and now the inside bed. I think the entire unit is super great. Question do you sell firewood, you have a lifetime supply built up. Sweeeet.. I'm not sure if you're aware but just a FYI.. back in the day . Refabricated and made improvements to accessories for Craftsman lawn mowers. And some Husqvarna equipment.. and a lot of other things but long story short.. while using some of this equipment on my property.. guys in trucks would stop by and ask me what the equipment.. more recently by recently I mean 8 years ago I've had people videotaping... long story short ??LOL.. what I'm getting at is patent your ideas.. or show them to the company that you're making the improvements on.. you got skills and very good Concepts.. 2 years from now the company that makes the equipment that you made the improvements on will have that same feature and be making tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars off of it... trust me I've been there... about 25 years ago I had a Craftsman dealership leaving business cards in my mailbox.. sending me all kinds of emotional stuff and business letters that I didn't ask or apply for.. Back then I was working 50 hours a week and I didn't put future two and two together... maybe money doesn't matter to you but that log dumper you just made.. and put all over KZbin for free.. it's going to make somebody else a whole lot of money..
