Exploring & Raking Around on a NEW DUMP Site I discovered yesterday. Starting to get into some decent Vintage Marbles & Toys ( Old Duncan Butterfly Yo-Yo found). Beautiful Old Tropicana Orange Juice Jar with lid. I even find a Cabbage Patch Doll. Such ODD finds on these dumps.

Those dagger/knives remind me of the pop up pirate game where you stick the knives in and the pirate pops up! You found cool plastic animals! This new dump you are on is pretty awesome!

Yea. The old trash is there. I just got to find it. I walked around more today and found some 100 year old bottles laying out further down the hill. I need to find the `1950's trash. It will be loaded with good marbles on this spot. May have to dig a big hole. I have only gone a few feet deep thus far. The good stuff is probably 5-6 feet down

The green barrel bottle is a beer called Mickey's I used to drink in the 80's. Cool coke machine find.

Mickey's was Malt Liquor, and the bottle was called a bigmouth. I seem to remember it having a wasp or hornet on the label? Pretty sure you can still buy it, and in the same type bottle.......

I remember a beer in a green barrel called micky’s big mouth. Might’ve been part of the late 70’s malt liquor thing. 🍻 And that Duncan butterfly is sick man!🏁

I remember that beer. But all the ones I have seen or drank had a screw top. This top was like a cor top. Must have had a big cap on it. The ones I drank were screw top I think

Very cool. I had no idea when i started here. How many marbles really glow. I just started putting the black light on all of them...and was kind of shocked. It is kind of crazy how many glow.

These videos are really good! You should sell the bottles yourself at the antique store, quite often they will do consignments…

It is a waste of time for me to sell bottles. That is why I give them away. I wont even go through the hassle of selling on ebay. I spend all my effort into digging the stuff and having the videos. They earn a good bit.

Ive drank that before. It is like a Malt Liquor. I used to drink all kinds of malt liquor in the 1990's. I usually drank 40 ozers. Crazy Horse Malt Liquor was my favorite.

I think you are correct. The beads are nice. I took those off and made a key chain. Figured it would be good luck since it was probably off a rosary. i carry it in my pocket on every hunt with my keys. it is working

This new dump really is proving to be a good choice. 9 marbles in one day, pretty good ! That little doll in her bathing suit (? I guess ) reminds me of a little doll that you could snap on other clothes. The clothes where plastic too. I could be thinking of another toy. Sure can tell that dump is newer, by all the plastic bags/wrappers covering the place. :~)

Yea. Not to bad for such new trash. At least I got some marbles. I walked around yesterday on the 2nd trip. And I found some 100 year old bottles laying out on the hillside. So the old trash is there. probably buried. Will have to probe around

I hope you do good man. Just stick with it. You see this dump. The stuff goes up to 1985. But you must realize this. Marble King....Is still making marbles. Vitro Agate m,ade marble up to 1993 I think. So you have a shot at those....and late throw aways. I think you will find marbles. It is spotty sometimes and may take 2 or 3 trips to start getting into them. But once you find one or two...you know they are there. They cam in BAGS with like 25 or more. Sometimes 50 or more. So more are there after 1

Oh yes! I am going to give a truckload of bottles FREE to that Yardsale store in Sardis Ohio on my next trip down the river which will be tomorrow probably. There will be thousands of my dug bottles there for cheap prices. They get all the proceeds. it goes to a church group i am pretty sure. So it is a decent cause.

Did it have a weird top like that with no treads for a cap? This one looked like it had a huge pry off cap on it or something? The top is why I took it home. I drank a good bit of Mickeys in the 1990;s and I dont remember the top being like that. I remember a screw cap on them

That is crazy. I did find a walkman yesterday up at that new dump. And a speaker to a radio. LOL. I have found headphones too. You never think of that on those older dumps. The electronic age....You can really see it in the ground. All those cheap wires from foreign electonics. I am seeing circuit boards alot now too.

It is probably good. I really have not even been on a dump I did not have fun digging. Even the new trash. There is stuff you will be proud to have found. And most of the time you wont believe what you find.

Those new dumps are rough on digging. All that big metal stuff in the ground. Those other dumps I have been on for a while...alot easier to dig a hole. I have not gotten more than 20 inches deep in that mess. i think that 1960's and 70's trash is like 5 feet thick. It is going to take me a year to get to the 1950's trash. HAHAH

Man i finally found a place on the river here where native American village was, found some things and when water goes down im going down to clasify.

Now is the time to go Ron. Right after this high water all the brush and weeds got blown away. You have about a week or two before it gets grown all up. You can see the fire pits now....CLEARLY in places. And then you will KNOW where to go back. You will find stuff man. Lots of it.
