Paid by the hour if you are a company driver and by the load if you are an owner operator and you work directly for the shipper/receiver. In other words you getting 100% of the pay for the load. Be safe

Depends on the rate, haul, and the driver. Most O/O here profit more by paying their drivers hourly vs paying them 30% of what the truck makes.
