As a fisherman who uses shrimp imitation lures, it was very interesting to see how the prawns reacted to being approached by predators. It seemed like they preferred to play dead rather than flick their tails and explode away. I’ll be changing my lure retrieve action after watching this and slowing it waaaaay down.

I know it seems like a lot of work, but as much as you love this pond and how long it’s been with the exact same setup, I think it would be cool to make the Center rocks larger in the sense of height/cave depth, so bigger ones on outer edges, use same footprint as to not take out any swimming room; I think it would be cool to see a new rock layout, but also something with more height/cave depth

You should start adding more coral (possibly live? I dont know) and make two big reefs in the back and a small one in the front forward center when looking through the glass. Maybe a bridge somewhere? And more Fish!!!! A cruising/more active Shark? Keep it up, Nick. You’re by far my favorite channel I watch regularly.

Yeah I feel like they don’t have much area to hang out. Yeah they have the open area but they feel more comfortable when they are under rocks etc. example why the grouper, eels, string ray and lion fish are all crammed over there. Not enough room needs to build more for them especially since there isn’t any sand.
