How much for a foot of extra space? Doesn't look Cheap and doesn't look worth the extra money
@samiam7 Жыл бұрын
Yes I would agree. Unless you had a bunch of cardboard or stuff that grinds good. This had some mattresses in it. They did not grind too good lol

How manny trash cans you have to smash a day , do you have a time limit???? This is very interesting first time looking at this ..thumbs up👍👍

This was a service we hired them to do for us. I would say he was there maybe 30 mins tops. It decreased our dumpster volume by 1/3 I estimate.

@@gabrielrendon1197 I think its was in the neighborhood of $150. I know the first time is free though www.smashmytrash.com/

Its pretty impressive. This one had some mattresses in it so it wasn't as good as it normally does

I’d be afraid that would bust the walls of the dumpster out. Who pays for the dumpster repairs? Neat idea though.
@samiam72 жыл бұрын
Dumpsters are pretty tough, I've seen them take some seriously direct abuse, as opposed to this, which is closer to pressure. All the same,, I'm not sure it would be worth the money, I'm on the fence. Thanks for watching
@nickhearn7288 Жыл бұрын
Of course the smashing company would pay for dumpster repairs…. That’s why they work it down nice and easy.
@johnrfranklin9072 Жыл бұрын
Good operator will not harm the dumpster period. He would have to purposely be trying to destroy the dumpster for that to happen...all in the operators hands.

It makes a mess who picks that up? What do the dumpster company’s say? Do they try to fight them for damages to the dumpster?

Be nice if they came half way the. When full seems it can only break up so deep when full

I think this was a bad example. Somebody threw a couple mattresses in there and they didn't break down good. I think if you had a bunch of cardboard etc it would work a treat
@patioex2 жыл бұрын
must be cheaper to just bring in a new bin no?
@samiam72 жыл бұрын
Well, it depends. I think if you had alot of cardboard and wood, it would break down alot better. This one had a couple mattresses some yehoo threw in it

The thing needs the be designed differently, in order to actually shred the sh++ at a higher speed.
@samiam73 жыл бұрын
That might help. There was some material in it like a couple mattresses that I think didn't showcase it great. If you had a bunch of lumber etc it would have done better. Worth the money? Probably not, in my opinion
@VancouverCanucksRock3 жыл бұрын
@@samiam7 I could see it getting it done in 5 minites, and also reducing the volume by 50%. I'd say that's worth it
@samiam73 жыл бұрын
@@VancouverCanucksRock I meant is it worth it as is. I would say it reduced volume by 1/3. If you did half that would be real nice.
@georgeemcclainjr15952 жыл бұрын
so if your the dumpster company you just lost money because you expect to dump and return it now it might be a removal your making money off the back of the dumpster company who now only rents the dumpster once and not multiple times for that customer
@samiam72 жыл бұрын
It really doesn't compact that much. If you had alot of wood and stuff that breaks down easy you might get 1/3 more space. It gives you a little more room. Just my guess from the one time I seen it in action
@re8746 Жыл бұрын
Not what its cracked up to be. The more weight in the roll off, the more expensive it is to dispose of. And the more weight in the box, you will pay an overage fee. Or if its to heavy, you have to unload it as it is illegal to haul a roll off over a certain weight. And damage the roll off? You, the one who rented it pays for the repair. Avoid this service.
