My Dad always said Take care of your pennies and the Dollars will take care of themselves. It’s true. My parents used to save up all the 50c pieces they got in change and that money used to help take the family on our holiday/vacations to the beaches and camping grounds when we were kids on school holidays. It was great. Fish and chips and burgers and icecreams were taken care of with the change. Hugs from Australia.

Thing is, these days if you pay too much attention to the pennies the dollars all die of neglect. I've seen it time and time again. People who clip coupons and do everything else to save a buck but pay no attention to how their life savings is doing, or how it's being invested, and end up with nothing.

Hey Mike, purely awesome haul dude! Found a heap of scrap, and a even a "scrap book" lol. Loose change adds up, I saved pocket change for a year, gave me gas money to go from NY to the OBX in North Carolina. When I was a kid found a old metal box that could have weighed 50-60 pounds; opened it up and had all rolled coins in it. I don't remember the dollar amount, but it was enough to get a new bicycle and open a savings account. You just never know what "treasure" is just around the corner.😉 Awoooo! Y'all👊👍✌

Mike, great video as always. I hope, hope you lay out all the office stuff from the box you grabbed just so we can see what it was you did find. I hope your lady is happy once you get the scrap all sorted and you get paid. Yeah, what'd we got here, scrappity, scrap, scrap. Thanks again for sharing your scrap adventures with us. Man, I wish I had the energy of youth to go out and find great dumpsters like you do, but I don't think the Tulsa market will do it for this old lady. LOL Love you dude! 😂😂😂

Hey Mike!! I’m curious what was the thing wrapped in bubble wrap that you said was $7.00? Kudos to the business that left all that scrap stacked up so neatly for you. 😄. I really enjoy your videos!! To shake things up a bit could you check out a grocery or department store and let us see all the waste that unnecessarily ends up in a landfill. If possible conceal the business name. I drove a semi for a company delivering food at night after they closed. I went from Orlando FL to Key West 3 days a week I made it my mission to pick up the dropped change in the drive thru. In a year I filled a 5 gallon water bottle with nothing but dimes quarters and nickels. In the first year I collected a little over 5 grand showing the haters it all adds up. From that point forward every team did the same.
