To remove the tire from the wheel use a bumper Jack and your rear bumper of your truck with the flat base at the edge of the rim and jack it up in the weight will break the bead of the tire then pry tire off .

Mike, I use a sawzaw and cut the tire off. Just cut into the rim and keep cutting till you cut through the steel ban in the tire. Take a few but it works.

Glad you found your stuff. I wondered if you had got it. Let the air out of the tire then stick a Big screwdriver in between the tire and rim and push it around it will pop the tire off. An old tire iron will work as well. My first job was at a gas station fixing flats. We didn't have the handy dandy machines then so had to do it the hard way. It's not real hard.

I normally cur round the tire with a sharp blade. Then cut the bead with a grinder takes about 10mins

Remove the valve stem core and put a short 4X4 on the tire . Now drive up on it and break the bead, flip it over and do it again. A couple of pry bars and remove the tire from the rim. There’s many KZbin videos on how to do it.

Canadian Treasure Hunter has a few videos on how he cuts tires off. He makes it look fairly easy. Sawsall for tire and grinder on the bead. The proper sawsall blade helps a great deal.

Mike, lay the tire down flat and back your trucks rear wheel on top of the rubber. After, letting the air out of it first. That is how you break the tire away from the rim. Then all you need is a big screwdriver or 2 and remove the tire from the rim.

I think I've told you before but take the valve stem out then put a jack on the side of the tire. Then jack up your pickup until the bead brakes loss. Then use tire irons to pop the tire off. Then there you have it.

Hi Mike, I use a grinder with a cutting disk to cut through the steel brade round the rim, let the pressure out of the tyre first, do it in the open air because it gets a bit Smokey.

Hey Mike I'm a fellow scrapper and I run into a lot of tires and rims and whatnot I found the easiest and quickest way to cut a tire off a rim grab an angle grinder and a cutoff wheel start in the sidewall and you're going to have to cut into the rim a little bit but cut through the bead on each side of the tire and it will fall right off

If you had a vintage tire break machine it’s easy to break the bead off the rim . Need two flat bar tire bars and a hand held sledgehammer. Pull the valve stem valve out of the valve then use break the tire off the bead and use the bars and work it off the rim

Best way for tyres, grab a big ish knife about 2 inch above rim stab it in, slice all the way around. Do the same other side. Then all you'll need to do is grab a grinder with a cutting disc and cut the bead of the tyre from the inside. So easy and quick.

Easiest way to get a tire off of the rim is to use an old bumper jack. Put the jack under the bump of your pickup and push the floor plate of the jack in by the rim and let the air out of the tire. The as you jack up the pickup is will brake the bead for the tire. Then do the back side also. Then go to harbor freight and get a couple of tire changing tools or you use big screwdrivers to put under the tire bead and pop it off off the Rim! That's how I do it and I've done it many times.

Use a sawsall to cut as close to rim as possible. Then you'll have to take a grinder to cut the remaining rubber bead off. Don't forget to remove the lead weight's.

I usually take my alloy rims to the local tire shop/garage I do business with regularly. They usually take them off for me for a nominal fee or free. Otherwise you're looking at cutting them off with a reciprocating saw.

Whip out the old bead breaker and the 2 pound sledge, bust the bead loose on both sides, then grab the tire irons and pop that nasty old tire right off! Fun Fun Fun!

to remove the tire, I just use a Dremel or a drill with a small diamond cutting disc.... cut all the way across and straight through the bead once.... and you're done just like butter

With taking the tires off the rims you can do it with a sawzaw but you have to dip your blade in oil first and then cut it scraper tip from Father and Son scrap removal in Florida

I always cut the tires off the rims myself because if you take it to a tire shop it will cost you more than you'll make in scrap.

Remove air in tire. Get a crowbar and put under edge of tire when flat on ground, and keep moving the crowbar and stepping or pushing down on the bar and it pops the tire off the rim and then turn it over and repeat. I am a bit old to do it now but watched my husband do it several times. Best way is go to a tire place and ask if they will do it. Like Walmart. They have done that for me before at no charge

You can take those tires to a shop and they will charge you like $5 to take it off. It is worth it because you should get about $15 for the rim.. Or there are many DIY ways on the internet. Great vid.

you left 2 cans in that open top. there was one right on the other side full of scrap also. You can use a sawzall or a grinder to cut the tire off. tire place will charge like $5.00 to take it off

Lots of U-Tube vids on how to mount and dismount tires with a couple of crowbars,,, Dismount the tire,,, and bring it back to the dumpster that you got it from,, :-)

Just pop the tire off by hand, it's not too hard. Grab a long Pry Bar and Pry the tire up over the rim, walk it around and it'll happen faster than you think. I've done it on the side of the road before at 3am when I found out the spare I had didn't fit on the spare rim.

I clean wheels with a saws all and a grinder. I make 4 cuts across the treads to the sidewalls leaving some attached then I cut the outside of the sidewall first then inside. The I use the cutoff wheel on the steel bead. It took a bit of practice but it takes like a minute now.

Sawzall with a metal blade around the sidewall, then thru the bead twice per side. Tire off in about 2-3 minutes.

I have done tires with a sawzall and cut off wheel... first have a short blade in sawzall, cut the sidewall all the way around on both sides, then slip off the tire. cut the mounting bead through with the cutoff. you only need to do this once. then the bead can be removed from tire. takes a bit, but it costs nothing but a blade and wheel every once in a while.

Hey there Mike....I had a Mercedes alloy wheel with the tire still attached. I had to use a reciprocating saw with a metal cutting blade to get the tire off. Took about ten minutes but it was worth it.

That wheel will break up easily with a good heavy sledge. Take the wheel out of the tire, not the other way around.

Best way to get the tyre off is but getting a sharp knife and cut round the front and back side walls then the tyre fulls off. Use the angle grinder to cut the rest of the tyre off, 2 minute job once you get the hang of it

Let the air out of the tire, lay it on the ground in front of your tire lining up with edge of rim so your running over the rubber and drive over it will break from bead then pull it off rim. May need to use crow bar or two to get it off from rim. Easy peasy and not a lot of time to do so.
