Dumpster Diving and Donation Bins - Lots of Clothing Saved from the Landfill!

@@Barbaragoddess Kelly has mentioned before, if the donated items are outside of the donation bins, they will be tossed into the garbage, and if they’re not doable items, they will also trash them as well. But as you can tell, they did try to put clothes into their donation bins if they were not full. And most donation bins say on them something like “ clothes, and shoes only”. So any other items that are not clothes / shoes they will also throw away.

Many women throw out clothes because they have either gained or lost weight. I’ve always donated my stuff. No matter what the item is, as long it’s in good condition & useable. It should be donated! Just plain laziness on her part. You guys save so many things. Thank you for your time & effort! ❤

I was telling a friend this morning that you guys do more laundry than any childless couple ive ever seen because you're always doing laundry. I can't imagine what that smell was to turn down a bag of clothes. I know you guys have taken stinky clothes in the past. Mmm gotta love the smell of kitty litter in the morning. My jeans always end up tearing at the knees which has been fashionable for a while now so now I can keep wearing them lol. Great video today. Kelly would look cute in that flannel. Laundry detergent smells must be nice in the dumpsters. It would suck to leave your clothes in the laundry room and come back to find them gone. Those are some cute clothes, definitely look like they belonged to the same person. Love seeing Mr Bones. ❤❤❤

@breafkast I don't think that they will be very interested in those cushions lol. My mom had them on her patio furniture, and the animals wanted her tomato plants more then them. She put blood meal out to keep the squirrels away. I'm healing from a very bad fall. I went backwards into a metal door frame, and split the back of my head on it. The doctor said that if it starts bleeding again to call him right away. Thank goodness it hasn't. 🙂⚘️.

Toe socks were popular back when I was in high school, in the late 70’s and recently my son gave me a pair as a gift. I find that they keep my feet so warm! I have worn them so much lately that I will need to replace them.

Hi Alex and Kelly and Bones! I used to work at a thrift store that had one of those bins for after hours donations. One time one of our thinner employees had to climb in through the bottom to dislodge something big stuck in the door like that. Another time it was full of wet clothes-loose so everything was moldy. The bin didn't last long because it was far more work than what good it did. We don't see them hardly anywhere around here now.

Kelly please keep the jacket.. is a great one to have if it's heavy is better. ..use those shein bags for clothes storage..they're the best . A you tuber told us that they're the best. ..if you have peroxide or vinegar do a paste with baking soda and rub to those pink stains. .Great finds on the clothes. I think that white with bright colors is a souvenir t shirt from the Dominican Republic..

The bag of tires, the pittbull rockbeast tires are for r/c cars, Rock crawlers. They're about 20-30 bucks a piece new. If you go by that dumpster again you shouod grab those. Someone into r/c cars would appreciate them. R/C parts are pricey. Lots of great stuff today. Thank you for saving it all.

An intact sheet of glass is a treasure to replace broken glass from other frames and photos you've found. It looked like a standard side, but an inexpensive glass cutter could cut it to fit something smaller.

The whiskering on the jeans is sometimes a design feature. The term you were looking for was a bodysuit. The "towel" set was terrycloth. It can be a good idea to take the glass from a broken frame. You may get another frame that size to put it in. It used to be inexpensive to get a piece of glass cut but not anymore.

Take the rugs to a car wash, spread it out and wash as needed and spread it on your drive way to dry in our Texas sun. Works greats! May need to sprinkle carpet deodorizer on it but usually they come out really nice. Try it….especially when it warms up.

Seeing that toy for Bone's at the end reminds me of what my Vet suggested for our cat, when we had her. It was called a, "cat dancer". It was a piece of rounded wire with a piece of cork on each end. My cat got more use out of that simple toy than any other. I think I saw them , now priced at around 2.99. Where I live, the Midwest, you can buy them at a Petco, and some shelters.

The flower pieces are for a car seat back, elastic goes around the headrest and the plastic rounds stick into the split between the back and seat. The long one covers both back and seat!

those daisy mats things are one for each seat and the long one goes in the floor from door to door...i have a set. great video..the pink thing where you got the huge bag you can lay it down and use for repotting plants. has sides so the dirt don't go everywhere.

Hey you guys, the pool noodle doubled up and duct taped together works great in boots and so does long pieces of bubble wrap or those air pockets( like from Amazon) I use that for boots and for the inside of my nicer purses when im not using them 😊
