I have an advantage for the meat. We have a Big Cat Rescue here that would be happy to take the meat. Lions, tigers, Bob cats, and other wild cats will eat it. Try calling your local zoo or wildlife rescue to see if they want it. If there's a recall, stores should be required to put unsafe food into a separate dumpster. Otherwise, they should be required to donate to food pantries or animal rescue. One of our food pantries has venison that is donated. Thank you for taking the time to check the meat and rescuing what you could. ❤❤❤❤❤ I liked the white dresser and side table. Hi Bones 👋 Such a handsome kitty 😺

if ground beef turns brown in the freezer, it is not necessarily bad; this color change is usually just due to a lack of oxygen and is considered normal, as long as the meat remains frozen and doesn't have any off smells or textures; the color change alone does not indicate spoilage.

I hate the amount of waste there is, and especially of food. I wish there was a way to mandate these places to have to donate food like that. If it has been stored and kept at constant temp, freezer food lasts indefinitely. Time may make the taste, texture a little different on some things but, it's not gonna hurt you I'm so glad you were able to at least get some of that for yourselves to eat. They last a lot longer than this data you were given or read. After quite a few years they start to lose their quality a bit but if frozen in the right packaging they can last a long long time. They do not go bad. I have cooked many Turkeys and Chickens three years later and we get a whole cow and it lasts very well for the two years it takes to eat it. It is a deep frozen situation. Nothing would go bad in 3 - 4 months.....hugs
