Good job bro I’ve done this too but I eventually got talked to by the police and I stopped but if I see a dumpster and it’s not in a place where I’m able to be seen by traffic I’ll check it out I pulled over 500 lbs out of extruded aluminum windows apart for the extruded aluminum frames I worked my ass off to get them and another set of dumpsters I pulled over a 40 yard dumpster full of metal out of over time I kept going back until I got talked to by the police then I stopped going to them but like I said I went hard core for 3 Mo getting everything I could find

if you have business cards even those who told you not to be there give them a card and say if doing any local work to give you a call and you will pick up the metal for free and it will save them money on size of dumpster needed all they need do is put metal by back door , always worth trying

Keep in mind if you come across fishing gear you should check and hold on to some of the fishing poles reals and any lures you may come across because they may have some good value. (Older stuff)

Take the flat screen TVs notcho dose extra tin weight they have a steel interior he wipe them off at the yard he even takes the copper coils out of the old ones and leaves the rest on the street

Im not trying to be rude, I am just confused as why you would remove the reels off of the poles when the fishing poles are in good shape and can be sold for more than you will get by scrapping them. Or someone could of used those fishing poles, to go fishing but not now. Good video non the less.

They may have a deal with someone already. The yard the dumpster go to may be a sorting yard and they may have something set up. It wasn't labeled SCRAP METAL was it?

Just to let you know it's nickel that goes into steel to make it stainless steel. The more nickel the higher the grade it is and the more it cost to make. Right now nickel is at a ten year low as far as cost goes. That's why the prices at the yard is so low.

I have noticed that none of the scrappers brings and use Heavy duty rebar cutter scissors. Is there a legal reason? Do you get in trouble if police finds you have tools like heavy duty pry bars and scissors?

In Orange County Florida properties have to have signs say no trespassing for you to be trespassing or have a fence surrounding their property. And you have to physically be on the property when law enforcement shows up for them to even trespass you.

You could've blown those appliances apart ,got the most valuable parts out and in the truck before they gave you the boot ,acr is in the top of that unit where those fans are . Look load your trailer with all ferrous materials. Truck non ferrous . Way easier time at scrap yard . Come on man ,gloves always. And turn that fkn truck off!!!😊
