I used to work loss prevention for big lots in Ky if I had to make sure anything thrown out was properly documented and busted up torn up destroyed in a way that no one could grab things from dumpster and try to return it. It comes off the stores bottom dollar. They are allowed so much for “shrink” as we called it. And if I caught anyone dumpster diving I called police since the dumpster was on Big Lots property

Just happened to find this video. A week ago I went out to take kitchen trash to the dumpster there were several really nice plastic totes just sitting in there on top of clean garbage bags. I always need totes for storage. You are amazing. Hate to see things go to a landfill.

I found an employee stash once at Dollar General. Thought it was trash but wasn’t. I found in the bag 2 shaving cream cans never used and some toothpaste and other stuff.

I recently found your channel and I love that you donate most of what you find. Other divers try to sell what they find, which I think is ridiculous. I used to dive and I'd find a ton of makeup at my Ulta Beauty stores, we have 4 different locations. Most of the stuff I found would go straight to the women's shelter. The shelter helps women find jobs, and any of the products they have is for the women to replace what they lost. And they needed EVERYTHING, from hair brushes to socks. Keep up the awesome work!
