Information for your Persian rug . . . Look on the back of the rug at the weave, look for the horizontal lines of foundation threads, these are called went threads. These wefts you may see them partially maybe an inch or so and then covered by wool knots. It's important that these threads are horizontal to the fringe. Sometimes the horizontal threads go from one side to the the other. It just might not be straight. Also look to see if it's uneven in parts and thicker in some areas. Also look at the front because the design maybe uneven and you will notice colour changes in the dye knots and stripes. Hope this helps !

Black n Decker circular saw, heavy duty, I bought one at garage sale cause I didn’t have one, I only need it once in a while, 🤷🏼‍♀️ . Mine has a button on top handle you push as you pull the trigger. IT WORKS!! Who cares if it’s vintage. Blades cost $5-9

Hi Angel, Metals go by weight. And it's not only metal Also stainless steel Copper/wires/cables Brass Aluminum. Such as blinds and things made with aluminum..except cans. Most scrappers that have trucks don't bother with cans.but cans are good for homeless..easy and light for them to carry.. Yes and as for blankets.. as long as they're not gross, take wash and donate.❤️ Entertain yourself with @mikethescavenger Or @scrap&palletman They're pickers and scrappers with great knowledge on metals

The tie-dye kit comes with about a dozen empty bottles. Then you fill them with the dye powder and use them. I'm sure it was still good.

Take all blankets and comforters. Wash them you can sew a blanket to one side of a comforter all the way around then turn a full size in to a twin type sleeping bag you just sew the bottom and half way up the side then and some kind of tie to each side and a tie up. My church many we added hats gloves scarfs and a hoodie always brand new donated from church members and always ex large to insure it would fit even if really skinny they could put it on over their clothes .and we made up small personal kits for men and women one of things you would need to clean up ( for women some kind of make and hair things) and small smack bag and always gave them six bottles of water. I hope this give you an idea to help your homeless we took ours to new york City one month we made 85 it was a true blessing to do God's Work. Please stay safe out there and God Bless.

Anytime you have a stain in your blankets or your clothes use Dawn dishwashing liquid Coke or Pepsi let it sit on the stain for 5 minutes rubber together throw it in the washing machine

A Persian rug will not have any of that plastic gridding on the back. They look hand sewn. And almost look the same on the front and back. The quality is apparent almost at a glance and feel. Much heavier than a regular rug of the same size.
