As you watch Mike go through his scrapping Alton House, you’ll find that not only is he Everything you’ve said he is, but he’s also Very Clean not only cleaning up his mess but any that he finds. I have been watching Mike's "scrappy-Scrap" videos now for a few months. I really enjoy the viewing. Mike mentioned in passing,that some viewers were not liking his "hard breathing" while "scrapping" recording his "junkyard adventures". To this breathing issue,I would say,anyone who has done any manual labor,knows elevated heart and respiratory rate is much increased. It cannot be helped. Does not bother me in the least. I would like to add here though,to Mike,you REALLY need to buy or find a pair of steel toe and shank boots to wear on ALL your "dumpster diving" as it will only take one huge nail or some other long,sharp object in the dumpster clutter to land upon and pierce your shoes and foot,to really ruin your day/night and possible permanently injure you. I have worked in heavy construction many years and I can tell you severe injury to the feet is not good. Keep up the good work and very funny videos,and by the way "Watch Yo Head" Ha!Ha!Ha!

Mike pretty good haul. Watching you with my late morning coffee. The red item with the black end and handle at one end is a pick-up tool for metal items. I use one for metal shavings and bits of steel at work. Hold on to it for stuff you can't reach or picking up LOTS of little bits of steel,nuts and bolts,screws and such (lots of a little=a lot). You should think about getting a magnet with a handle for picking up the loose steel and iron. You can load up the magnet and then just wipe all of the pieces off into a box.

Oh my word When i was little back in the 70’s my mother would take us to the North Shore (Sunset Beach) surfers world in Honolulu Hawaii we used to sift the sand for puka shells, it was so much fun trying to dodge those huge waves running...we made so much beautiful jewelry out of the puka shells...love ya

Red handled device at 29:15 is a magnetic pickup. You need one of those. The handle will release the metallic objects for you.

I'm totally bummed out that you didn't take us to the scrapyard. After working my ass off getting scrap, I want to see the fruits of my labor. That last dumpster. The red item with the handle at one end, and a big round end at the other. Is a magnet. You could use that to pick up all that small metal in the dumpster from earlier in the video. Handy tool for cleaning up.
