Steph, I’ve thought this for quite a long time but I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it to you. So now I will. Out of all the divers that I have watched and continue to watch…..YOU, Steph, are Barr none the most thorough diver that I’ve ever watched! You don’t miss a trick! I have actually stopped watching a diver or two because they just lift the lid and say, “no, nothing in there.” They don’t even move things around or look under stuff. And believe me I understand if something is super stinky or whatever but this happens all the time with these couple of divers! They should follow you around for a day then they’d know what it was like to be a REAL DUMPSTER DIVER!! Take care and God bless.🤷🏻‍♀️🌹

Aww thanks! But I do know what might be happening-If they dive every day, you’ve already seen what’s in dumpsters and only need to look at the top because you recognize the below bags you already looked through. Trash only comes once or twice a week, so it’s super common to be revisiting dumpsters you’ve already looked through but it wasn’t filmed so you’re the only one that knows 😆 we try not to show the billion dumpsters that had nothing or no change. I’m guessing it’s the same with them ☺️

I like the fact that they don’t dive for just themselves many divers only pick out stuff if they find something useful to only them. This is why I only watch this channel it’s my favourite!! I’m from the UK so we don’t really get this kind of stuff over here so watching these make my whole day 😁

long time since I have been able to watch. been missing you guys. I wish I could do what you do. the things you find will help so many people. due to my husband's passing in 2020 and covid I lost my home. took me six months to get my benefits. so it is gone. what I couldn't move they throughout in the land. if anyone has anything to say about what you do, they should be ashamed of themselves. you are all a blessing. it's against the law around here to dive. not like in the late'90s or early 2000..thank you for the ray of sunshine you give to others. As you know, dumpster diving professionals refer to them as "California Work Boots." It's intriguing that people will click on a video attached to a successful KZbin channel with more than a half million subscribers, hundreds of videos, millions upon millions of views, hundreds of thousands of comments...and proceed to tell you that you're doing it all wrong. 😃 Jerry Seinfeld probably had to put up with that stuff, too. Maybe not so much anymore, now that doing it his way made him a billionaire. But positive or negative, 👍or 👎, it's all the same to the algorithm. On to the next!

I just paid $72.00 at TJ Maxx today for a 20" London Fog rolling suitcase. It had been $99.99. The first suitcase you pulled out looked like the black Samsonite 20" rolling suitcase I was also looking at today. It was $80.00 and had been $99.99 originally. Hope this gives you some idea of the prices on those suitcases. Crazy to throw them in the dumpster even if they were a customer return. This " throw stuff in the dumpster because of COVID" has got to stop.

They were doing it before Covid. These big corporations should stop filling our landfills with useful stuff. There are many low income families that could use that stuff and would be tickled to death to get it. I’m a grandparent raising grandchildren and now that they are teens it’s hard to keep them in cloths on a fixed budget. There are many grandparents raising their grandchildren on their social security check and there are no government programs to help other than food banks.

Hi S&S! I started watching ya'll in 2019, right before the pandemic hit. You guys inspired me and my BF to dive and that got us through some rough times! Our dogs ate like royalty! Anyways, decided to look back and i was so excited to see the blue Prius!!! We had a green one until someone stole the cat😢. Brought back so many happy memories. I miss those days. I do too!!!! Have found massive stuff that my husband got a storage unit for it all i dont video it although my son keeps teeling me to with his go pro. Still trying to figure out what to do with it all. Alot of dog food i donate to a shelter which is greatly appreciated and tons of magazine puzzle for the nursing homes. Love this dumpster channel steph has taught me alot and was the one that got me to go out and just look!!! My husband hates it but im addicted!!!

We still are avoiding humans as much as we can. We did go to that haunted house the other day though so that was our first real public sort of thing (other than an airport and airplane a couple times). We are still avoiding humans and public things if we can because we’ve managed to avoid Covid so far 🤞🏼(autoimmune disorders = high risk so we try to limit if we can)…but life does go on so some things will happen to enjoy our lives ❤️ We still do pallets but we do them privately and keep KZbin fun separate from the work life to give us a break 😊
