As a personal favor to me :) If you run across usable suitcases and backpacks, before you donate them to a resale place or donation center. Please consider taking to your area foster care agency. So many children in foster care transport their personal affects in garbage or Walmart bags. They are generally too expensive for social workers to purchase on their own and it gives the children a sense of having something that gives them a little pride. Thank you for rescuing stuff from out landfills! I've followed you for years and as long as you put out videos, I'm here!

Never crossed our minds we find SO much personal stuff all the time! Usually it’s people who can’t find a donation bin or thrift store to donate or don’t want to bother with it so they just toss big items especially in the big dumpsters they find 🤷🏼♀️
@michellefuhrmann20382 жыл бұрын
I can guarantee it was stolen. My son's dad was in the Navy & all the stuff that was in that one suitcase was stuff that he had to return upon leaving. The person was probably a Navy Medic by the look of the badge (nurse badge ?).
@rebeccaeblin34132 жыл бұрын
Military stuff isn’t something that you can just go pick up at a local store (former Army here) they offer the current uniforms through a commissary or specialized store just for the military. You never know it could be hooked to a crime in some way as well. Somewhere in the suitcase should be some form of documentation I would think 🤔 you do so much good for the environment and other causes I just wanted to make you aware that this type of stuff isn’t something someone would donate or chuck into the dumpster ESPECIALLY the newer uniforms and items.

Yeah, back in the 70s when we were in boot... they issued us our uniforms, but it did come out of our pay. It was the Sailor's responsibility to keep up to date on uniforms once in the fleet, hence the very low clothing allowance we got once a year LOL... just like keeping civilian attire if working a civilian job. I still have my uniforms. I loved my pinstripe, still have my Dress Blues with the anchors on the collar and gold buttons, sad they took it away. Yeah, enlisted females had gold buttons at one time! Now women look like men. I dispise the crackerjacks on females! :( I miss those days of my youth. Can't believe I've been retired almost 30 years from the Navy... where has the time gone!

its a nintendo 2ds, a cheaper version (without the 3d slider basically), just need a nintendo 3ds charger (about $20 usd retail) to try it out. Not that expensive as its a last generation handheld before the switch, can find it for cheap and you should be able to power it on and play almost immediately after it starts charging. It'll also play nintendo DS games. (they look like the 3ds zelda game but usually black and without the small tab in the corner)
