I'm sitting here watching this after having watched a few others and I'm thinking "you know, he's actually doing the world a hell of a service by saving as much of these materials as possible that would otherwise be taking up space in a landfill doing no one any favors." Yesterday I watched a video of yours, the one where you find that large load of ballasts and then went out to do my own route and wouldn't you know it - I go on to find the largest pile of ballasts; it took me two trips, filled each time and all I could think of was, Mike would dig this! That and ballasts are paying .23 lb.

hi mike, another great video, just fyi, gas tanks are made of plastic now so that they dont split in a crash, they just dent instead., as the metal ones can burst upon impact and you just end up being toasted !! keep up the good work mike :)

Seen you on TikTok. Just found your KZbin channel, and blew two hours just watching scavenging. I always have a "scrounge mode" running when I am out walking around where I live. I have grabbed some great stuff out of the trash over the years that would have ended up in an incinerator including tools and stuff for my kitchen.

Yellow and black thing is a plunger for drains. It uses an air cartridge. They sell them at Home Depot. Should've kept that one.
