@@rcautoparts1 Hello, Robert, I see Mike find so many cool electronics and radio gear it blows my mind, and he just chucks it into Dottie and it's off to the scrapyard. He is a bull in the china shop but has a hell of a good work ethic.🖐🏻73's🎙🎧KD9OAM📻
@gorak90002 жыл бұрын
@@rcautoparts1 That's not PL259 connectors. Hate to break it to you, but no one uses those commercially. Those are strictly used by HAMS for low frequency stuff. Probably N connectors on LMR400 or better cable. All that stuff he found is 2.4ghz or 5ghz stuff or other licensed microwave bands - PL259's don't work at high frequencies

And the coax cables too!

@@gorak9000 I just installed 2 repeaters at 200 feet both with hardline on the tower, a 440 and a 220 machine, at the base of the tower we have a fully insulated, heated and cooled shed. everything inside is hooked up with PL259. We used LMR 400, and I use it at home. That one particular HT Mike found looked to be a UHF, PL259 is sold as a UHF connector they look the same as an N connector on the outside its inside where you see a difference. The N connector has an additional shield.

hey Mike, thanks for another great video. Sharps containers (the one with the needles/blood) is supposed to be disposed of properly, either through a pharmacy, a hospital, or a medical waste service. Some workplaces now have sharps containers in the bathrooms for the diabetics or others that have meds that have to be injected.
@susananthony23662 жыл бұрын
So what should he have done with that container? Are there places to take something like that if someone comes across a 'sharps' container again?
@pogib2 жыл бұрын
I know in the last city I lived in sharps could be dropped with standard trash for residents if it was within a sturdy sealed container. I had to check after we started doing insulin shots for our cat. Businesses would probably have a disposal service, which is what that is most likely from. Ultimately check with your local city ordinances for proper disposal.

Howdy Mike Those power amps are $$$ and are like Crown mono power amps nice find. Bumn coffee products aren't cheap and still worth resell. These server racks still good money there and might still have SAS hard drives inside. Red bucked is a Sharpes container and can drop off at a hospital or there is a number to where dropped off. My friend is diabetic and used to sealing up in a clear bag when a red bag isn't available. Other wise a nice mix of electronics. Amps may have come from a casino.
