Great video. So frustrating seeing all this jewellery, I recently asked in a number of shops if they had bags of unsorted jewellery for sale & was told no, instead they appear to just throw it away. Lots of people buy old jewellery for crafting - another way to keep it out of landfill.

Hi From Hull - Pretty pissed off to see how much pet food was thrown out there. Between paydays myself here and cupboards empty so my dog and me are going without tonight. could have really used some of that stuff. I really wish the store owners would give it out to those who can use it. Plenty of apps are out there for sharing this stuff out so it doesn't go to waste. It should be a crime.

The charity shop I volunteer in here in Ireland don't throw out DAD'S, we sell for 50c each and I make stuff from old jewellery or use as embellishments for handmade cards.

Wouldn't it be easier and quicker to tip the bin out, collect everything from a kneeling position, and the just put the rubbish back and do a little bit of sweeping up afterwards rather than all the back and forth reaching for one item at a time? Good score though, I never pass a skip without finding some treasure.

You could do with a little plastic stool that is a foot high and folds flat, it would be ideal when you could do with a little extra arm length.Hopefully, you may find one,, if you don't I think you can get them in a lot of places. Good hunting😊

I'm surprised you don't carry extra bags & totes to put things in, the smaller items go in the totes and cut pet food bags or wet or messy items in the bags. I have cats so I take any cat litter even if it's ripped it goes in a bag and home it goes!

The amount of food, pet food, bedding, household furnishings, toys that’s these stores throw out & deliberately destroy is disgusting Why can’t they just give to all the various charities to help people & animals. There’s loads of Facebook groups that help people & animals too. These stores head offices need sorting as the stores will only be doing what the top tell them to do . There are thousands & thousands that would be so greatful of this stuff
