awesome display! thanks for sharing. what spacing did you use on the house? I am thinking of going with maybe 2" spacing. I can't wait till I'm able to start installing on my house. I've bought the falcon f48, the f16v3 and a couple of strings of pixels to get started learning with. I'm using xlights with it. again thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

Hi sorry for the 4 month late response! Everything was purchased from holidaycoro and amazon. The window and garage surrounds are 1" and everything else is 4"

A ridic amount of time. Probably 100 hours total. 1/2 way through I felt like tossing everything in the garbage. The sequencing was the straw that broke the camel's back. Next year it will be better.

I have regular LED lights but want to do a light show. Do I need to buy all new pixel lights for the display. I have over 10,000 lights now.

You do not need pixel lights. You could use Light-O-Rama.com regular controllers. Wowlight.com and check out Holiday Coro too.When I 1st started back in 2008 I used 3 -CTB16pc controllers. So I made 1 Med size tree (used 16 channels) I made 2 arches (mine were 8 channels ea), but 7 channels does nicely & that leaves you with 2 spare channels in case 1 channel stops working. Then I made 16 mini trees, but again 14 or 15 mini trees will do & you have that spare channel or 2 as back ups. On a side note you ought to by just the 18 channel controller card with HD heat sinks as a back up controller. I left the rest of the lights static.... so always on. But if you want to make say a 16 smart pixel bullet tree, or a 16 Smart Ribbon tree or 16 smart Pixel square tree then you will need to spend the money. So you can buy 16 - 16ft ribbons and a star and have a 20ft tree. I took my videos down for now but there are plenty to watch on YT.

Hi there! I'm using the holidaycoro controllers with an FPP on Raspberry Pi running the shows. Would have gone with the falcon controllers if I knew better as I believe FPP is built in. I have the main controller in the garage, and two 4 channel subs in the yard. One is a 5v bus, and the other 12v. Super fun project!
