Did your cookie mix come with the sprinkles or did you have to add them? We just made a batch of these and I didn't realize until our plain ones were in the oven that the ones on the box have sprinkles in the actual dough, not just around the frosting. I found your review while trying to figure out if got a dud or somehow missed a step.

The sprinkles aren’t in the dough. It’s just for decoration. If you did add it to the dough, it’s okay, it won’t hurt them, you just won’t have any for decoration.

These look good so I bought a box to try it out. The frosting tastes terrible. Once they were done, I ate 1/2 of a cookie and my partner ate one too. The next morning we woke up with nausea and diarrhea. It lasted well into the next day. Wanted to let people know in case this happens to you. Steer clear of these! 🤮

We had no trouble whatsoever. Maybe your egg had gone bad or the butter. It could have been many different things. I'm sorry you got sick, but I would not paint every box of mix with the same wide brush.

I’d probably just make funfetti cake mix cookies and Betty Crocker whipped frosting!!! I don’t like Duncan Hines frosting but their cake and brownie mixes are really good… I don’t know if you’ve ever compared bc frosting to dh but really there is no comparison… Betty wins everytime!!!

I love the colors of these sprinkles, they're just so pretty and fun that they're not just traditional ones. Also realized the Happy Birthday song playing in the background when you were assembling them, such a cute touch!

I love Duncan Hines cake mixes best too! They have the best flavor and are always so moist! Our family have enjoyed all the EPIC kits they have put out, and I am definitely going to pick this one up too! My husband loves all things Birthday cake flavor!! Fun review!! 🤗
