@@R9naldo well, maybe not as popular as gta5, but FiveM shits on gta in terms of views on twitch and time saved, because FiveM servers are not cockstar servers, therefore you don't wait for 2 weeks in the clouds just to play a random deathmatch. Also in security terms, just by having a social club account you expose your rockstar id, which you cannot change and sticks to your account as long as it exists, and if someone has your rockstar id they can pull your ip address and dox you or keep you without internet for weeks, IMAGINE that being the case with any other game company...

I mean, when you're going at a high speed to reestablish a visual on the target, it can reduce the chances of you noticing the target (who is now moving at a significantly lower speed relative to your own). The faster you go, the fewer details you'll notice at a critical point.

That works in real life too. When I was a child I was in a red car with someone. Another red car clipped us on a bridge with a blind spot then rejoined traffic flow. We were pulled over and the police thought we were who they were chasing and the officer wouldn't believe us. Of course in this case it only worked because there was a similar vehicle to pass first.
