3.5" floppy disks were floppy. The disk is the round thing inside the hard plastic casing and it is very floppy.

@@MathewWalls I concede, sir, that you are the bigger pedant. Technically correct, but as a kid we differentiated between floppies and diskettes because the bigger ones had a flexible outside as well.
