Damn that thing sounds good! Reminds me of the Virus and alikes :)

Yup its got that lush super-saw sonic signature, and has wave-tables! So you can import your virus waves as well. ;)

Uberphat And still more like a virtual analog than serum!

@@Expectaz Yup. Serum is great, but has many limitations. You cannot spread the voices like you can with Dune.

Uberphat I think Serum can do those things like unison and spreading, but to me Serum sounds more “digital” but heck every vst is digital lol

@@Expectaz The thing is Serum can, but it's not exclusively controllable. In Serum, Duda decided it would be best, for some reason, to give each voice it's own polar opposite. And spreading is directly linked with detune. So there really is no exclusive way to spread voices left to right without detune-ing or over saturating the oscillators with voices. Also each key press gives a different sonic image when unison is in play without detune. So there are plenty of limitations when it comes to voicing in serum. Another thing that really makes me frustrated about serum is that there is only one filter in the signal chain. There is a secondary effect filter, but it's modulation and assignments are limited. The digital sound you are talking about is because Serum doesn't emulate analog VCOs, saturation, drift or any other non-linear phenomena that comes along with Analog gear. Perhaps he will fix these issues when Serum 2 is released. But really there is no need, because Vengeance Avenger is everything Serum isn't and much, much more.

Impressive. Some of these are production ready right out of the gate, others would take some tweaking to work in a professional mix. Most vst factory presets sound dated to me, sounds that were popular 2 or 3 years ago, but this one is on point. The richness and power of the saws is beautiful, even with filter passes, and the plucks are punchy but pure. The arp patterns are lovely, but for some reason Ive always gotten kind of uncomfortable when a vst does everything for you, sort of takes the creativity out of the process. Would Love to hear some of these stacked to hear how much they retain their sonic integrity. But I give it a solid 8 out of 10, and ill definitely be adding it to my sound library. Thanks guys.

Thank so much!! I don't think I used any drums in this video. All the sounds are the presets from Premium EDM Vol.2 bank. Are you talking about another video? or what part of this vid are you referring to?
