Thank you so much for doing this. Please consider tagging parts of games and making detailed/to the point videos that explain the general strategies that are top meets and with learning, etc. Thank you for letting this out there

Hmmm. The thing about the game, is that it is kind of fluid. My current workflow doesnt really help me track key detailed strategy points. And just pointing to rounds I feel doesnt really have impact. But i'll think about it

@cheesable yeah you have a much better understand of the game than me. I just haven't had the time to delve into it deeply, but it's one of my favorite games ever, my favorite franchise for the last 32 years, etc. And i want to be good at the game so I'm looking for easy, digestible tips i guess. The flow of the game makes it impossible to plan precisely, of course, but you have some roads opening that your are looking for that are specific to hero, location availability, cards, etc., and I'm interested in those decisions and the impact later on, other things you should look for one you've taken that road, etc. Might not be making sense, sorry. Keep it up it's great content regardless

Oh man i can relate to Helena. He ended the game not having 2 emperor influence, yet he fought so hard to steal guild alliance.
@cheesable3 ай бұрын
He could have worked less hard and got more points. :/ stealing alliances is a strange thing. Most of the time, it hurts for both players. Helps rest of table

Everyone else had already revealed. So I can just take consecutive actions

In the last round, if you'd chased on Emperor and gone to Wealth, instead of chasing Spacing and going to Foldspace, you would have had an extra 5 combat strength. This would have put you out of reach of your opponents in the combat, even if they had the best possible intrigues. You couldn't beat Barron either way, since he was already at 12 points (with the Holtzman Engine endgame that you didn't seem to be counting) and had more spice than you. Taking the extra combat strength to guarantee the combat win and 3 points, seems like it would have made more sense to lock in second place, vs stealing the alliance and risking losing the combat.

probably, but I guess there is something sweet about kicking the person who stole your alliance to 4th place

@cheesable3 ай бұрын
Of course! Issue with 2 swords is it doesn't swing a combat. Then no persuasion limits you from hitting that smf you need. It's great in artillery strategies. But it's so niche

@@Плут-с2о I kinda doubt that. Some of the 1-2 cost cards I have literally never played. Even with artillery I probably wouldn't buy Sardaukar Infantry.

Damn this one was a bit unfortunate, really thought you had it at the end there. I don’t think the intrigue deck has been kind to you the past few games.
@cheesable3 ай бұрын
Yep! And thats fine, hopefully these videos also give people less tinted glasses when it comes to winning games. I don''t win all the time, its a card game, there is alot of luck involved. and its okay to lose, just play your best hand
