This whole movie gave me the understanding of how the disciples must have felt, to see their prophet performing the very feats he was fated to do, that great exaltation of seeing generations of hardship and sacrifice wasn't in vain, and you were special enough to witness it with your own eyes.

Yeah, it looks weird because the 60fps is usually used for sport or documentary, it´s too smooth..for me it´s always like watching a cheap telenovel. A cinematic-film look has always something like 25fps, that´s the golden standard and it works for decades. Btw I don´t like these "enhanced" videos, they´re pointless. A great director would never use this...

@carolynallisee246318 күн бұрын
OK, so it's been enhanced, but I was struck by one thing as I watched this. This isn't the first or even second time I've watched this clip, and yet I feel as if I'm actually there, on the sand with the Fremen, watching Paul undergo his Sandrider test, rather than watching it on a screen. This has been Denis Villeneuve's biggest achievement with both films, making the watchers feel an immediacy and closeness to the action. It's so good he can almost be forgiven for the deviations he's taken from the books.
