Really enjoyed this video Phil. Ploughing is a slow job, but very satisfying. When driving through the countryside, it lovely to see the fields ploughed, and knowing that soon the crops will be set again.

Jaysus lad you didn’t film that lately, with what rain we got yesterday? Was in cork Thursday and Friday and never saw as many boys out seeding at the same time in my life oh and I saw a bloody enormous self propelled sprayer in Tipperary , either a lot of cattle went back in at lunch time yesterday or there was a lot of damage done across the country, in our area land was only barely trafficable as it was now it will take another week to dry out if we get a bit of weather. It’s amazing how you miss someone at particular times I had an uncle and every year at lambing I miss him and he’s dead over thirty years so you can look forward to having fond memories of Ian every time you plough a field for the rest of your life and you know what I bet he would have loved that!
