Really well done video. Reminds me of Ricky Royal. Easy to follow, clear, and interesting. My mind never wandered.

Thanks for this. Was barely on my radar, but now it has vaulted up near the top of my buy list.

Hi GG, another good video as always. One correction (unless you put a text correction overlay and I missed it), the upgrade deck changes to level 2 and then 3 based on exhausting two separate XP pools. It's not tied to the dungeon tiles. See top of page 9 in main rulebook.

Wayne Hansen Thanks Wayne. I just misspoke. Somewhere in the vid (unless I edited out-totally possible!) I show the two cups of XPs. No doubt you caught an error however in what I said in a different spot. Thanks for pointing that out.

Geek Gamers BTW I forgot to mention how much I am enjoying this game. It is the best non-digital solitaire "dungeon crawl" (is that a mouthful?) I have ever played. Most of my time is spent with wargames, with some dabbling in ameritrash and euros. But DA is taking up so much of my gaming bandwidth. From the fantastic components, to the excellent solitaire mode, to the really great miniatures. I was able to pick up a set of painted ones after the KS ended and they are simply great. Lots of theme in the game. I noticed a couple things you do that I do also in my games to help keep that theme alive and prevent it from becoming too much of just a puzzle. I'd go into detail but I think I could talk about this game for an hour and the KZbin comment section isn't overly friendly to that type of discussion.

Wayne Hansen I agree with you about this being one of the best out there in doing what it does. It seems that every other game coming out in this genre is yet another “dungeon crawl/RPG”. This one gets it right. Usually when I’m done filming I’m s bit sick of a game for a while but if I didn’t have something else I need to work on now, I’d have another game of this with a different group of characters

Great review. It does look like deck building with minis and dungeon tiles to add flavour.

I love this game and I firmly think that is the most underrated game ever!

Ultimately, I'm glad I didn't back this. It looks like an OK game, but it's definitely not what I look for in a dungeon crawl / adventure game. Thanks for the video.

Sure. Glad you felt you made the right decision on it. It's always gratifying when that happens, as opposed to the other way around!

Great overview! Saw this at my FLGS and hadn’t heard anything about it so I decided to look it up. After watching a number of videos I’m seriously thinking about getting it now. I love this type of deck building and hand management and that seems to be the primary focus. However the theme would be a tough sell for my wife. Ah decisions....
@GeekGamers016 жыл бұрын
MyklSkeleton Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching and commenting. Yep it does offer all the things you say in a combination that works really well together. Plays great solo but that might not be enough if you are looking for something to play with your wife

Interesting. Kinda reminds me of Shadowrun: Crossfire style deck-building, but with an added spatial element in the dungeon tiles.

Hard to say what you would prefer as of course I don’t know your gaming tastes but for me, Heart of the Mists is the game I still play (of the two).

Hi there. Great video btw. I have a question: At 54 minutes you do plan the movement of a spider to your gnome-sholar. since im not that good in english and i dont own this game i may be completely wrong but in my understanding the spider cant move to the scholar, since it has only 4 movementpoints and it needs an increement of two additional points of movements when it is passing lorna. that would be 5 points of movements, right? correct me if im wrong.
@GeekGamers016 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks for the question. Glad you enjoyed the video. It has been a while since I made this video and don't remember specifically but it sounds as if from what you write that I did make a mistake because of the additional move points when passing Lorna (assuming that is true for the enemies and not just the heroes--that I don't remember either!)

Thank you. Keep up the good work!

Pretty interesting, I'm glad I've backed it. Now when is this reaching EU for the KS ? I think LudoPackt in Germany are sorting it out but anyone know who the mail carrier is ? particularly to Spain ??!?!
@GeekGamers017 жыл бұрын
Can't answer the shipping question (not that you were asking me!) but this gives me a chance to add something I should have said in the video which is that there are a ton of things I didn't even cover (such as diving deeper into the challenge tiles to get even more stuff and the campaign system). It's a really solid game--definitely a cut above IMO from a lot of the "oh it's another dungeon crawl/RPG".
@QuixoticGamesLLC7 жыл бұрын
Hi, Dave! LudoPackt is using either DHL or DPD, depending on the recipient's country. I'm not sure which for Spain, however. All EU copies should be shipped out by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

What card sleeves do you use?
@GeekGamers015 жыл бұрын
Sergio Hernandez Castro In this vid, using just the cheapest penny sleeve ones I can find. Mostly that’s what I use tho lately I hav experimented with a slightly more expensive glossy sleeve that I’m not sure I like tho it fires poker sized cards better.
