Dungeon Defenders 2! First c9 clear and my fail attempts

Chaos 9 was quite the surprise, the Elder Wyverns come out instantly so any form of CC (so stun or slow) is instantly negated; One thing I didn't think about trying was trying to petrify the Wyverns and setup a second petrify area (if I saw correctly, the Elder Wyverns still got petrified).
But this is how I managed to get my first c9 clear, on other maps you could easily do it with Skeletal Archers too, or even other defenses, I personally focused on the one map I'll be farming the most; Unholy Catacombs!

Absolutely, I need 1k more medals so it might take me until the weekend to review the new hero, as for artillery cannons I thought I showed, otherwise it should be in the speculation build video I made 2 days ago. But my artillery cannons have Mods: defense rate 10, range 9 and piercer 8 Shards: mass destruction, destruction and overcharge It wad done with a chaos 8 relic in the video. Dryad trees Mods: accumulator servo 10 (nothing else) Shards: juggernaut, explosive shield guard and fortification Also with a chaos 8 relic

yes! I have just found a new build setup which I'll make a video on for that exact reason, the only "premium" hero required is the EV2. I will try to make a video today but the TL;DR use any barricade with reflect beam in front to counter Elder Wyverns (They aggro on barricade and they do projectile attack to reflect beam protects it) then you put 3 flame auras and buff them with boost aura, buff beam and any defense with Destructive Pylon hypershard (I use Lightning Strikes Aura because it's cheap). The only thing you need then is to farm chaos 8 for a good relic with preferably Anti Chaos, Anti Melee and Defense rate mod (Preferably 10 rate mod); Shards are Mass Destruction, Destruction and Deadly Strikes (if you don't have a 10 rate mod, you might need a defense rate shard instead of destruction); I'm bad with words so I hope it helps you until I make a video on it

@@Zer0Zinga Yes that makes a little sense. I do have hypershard destruction and fortunately got 1destructive pylon but no ancient power. Most of my gear is c7/c8 so I'm probably not ready for c9. I subscribed!

You get 1 from obtaining 50 Mastery Stars; 2nd one is from beating Prime 1 throughout prime 6, all maps (Has to be on chaos 8 prime difficulty, the new prime 9 difficulty doesn't give you these hypershards)

Yeah the expedition is much harder than doing floor 300 on onslaught, just have to gear up or get carried

TL:DR you need max everything to have a chance.

Eh.. kind of? I would say a near max c8 build is required or playing with 4 players in the lobby where every one actively takes care of their own side as heroes can deal with lanes quite easily. you do have to remember it's about floor 350ish difficulty so it's not a cakewalk

yes, after beating any map in chaos 9 expedition it gets you to floor 300 (well 299 and your next floor is 300)
