Wait did you charge the beam ahead of time by collecting mana and then waiting for it to timeout?

You can't beam until you have charged the beam with mana. So I move my EV over to the location and you see this little bar start filling up as mana hits the EV. Once it's completely full you can turn off Ab2. Then, when it is boss time, I start Ab2 (hero boost) on my DPS Monk. I move my EV to the boss and activate AB2. I then I single left click my mouse and the beam starts.
