I know this is a little old, but I played DK2 when I was about 10 and I was always interested in playing DK1, but I couldn't get past the pixilated graphics. I found out about KeeperFX today and now as soon as I finish playing through War for the Overworld I am going to purchase DK1 and throw KeeperFX at it. Thank you for the video! I'll come back and watch the whole thing after I play through the game.

To absolutely overpower every opponent, invest solely on mistresses. Even a micromanaged handful is ridiculously effective. With a harem of lvl9... Just get a well placed guardroom a few tiles away from the only gap you make to your dungeon, and see the magic happen.

Yes, the iron maidens are the best there is. I use them whenever I can.

Possession was always the most fun part for me. I would try and solo opponents as an imp using hit & run tactics
