Me and my friends have been having a total blast playing the base game initially, then adding the first expansion for more players and variety. I can already imagine up to 12 player free for all mayhem and team based tactical skirmishes with Monster Madness. Can't wait to try it out :)))

I really like the game and will be picking up the newest set when it's out. What we use it for is a filler game for when 2 other games are going and people get eliminated or more people show up so everyone always has a game to play and are not sitting with nothing to do.

I put a bunch of dice in my crappy box lol. Chessex makes some smaller dice and i have 6 10 siders in for health. We use it to determine who is going first in a multiplayer magic game or other board game. It's kind of a minigame in between games.

Played it at last with the nephews. We had a blast with the Monster Mayhem expansion that gave the 5-6 player rules.

That box bums me out. It looks awesome but the sections don't look wide enough to take sleeved cards. I really want the monster decks but the storage part is useless...

I like the illustrations on the original product, and I think the character design and idea of playing as monsters is an interesting idea in the new content. It is unfortunate that it is all used for an extremely light and repetitive game that seems to offer no interesting choices.

You can still do co-op, you just adjust the hp of the big bad(s) based on how many heros that are playing. What I'm going to do is have the big bad have 40 hp and 2 heros at 20 hp.

I don't really have any sleeves to try it with, but my impression is that if all the cards were sleeved the increased width would make it pretty difficult to fit them all.

Was thinking initially that the game mechanics might be like Munchkin - ton of hours playing that with my boys - so a little disappointed it is not really repeat game play for adults

I also should have added in the review that I haven’t played it with more than three people. Might have a bit more longevity in a large group, or others might find it enjoyable for hours on end, but that’s not where I’m at with it, personally.
