DUNGEON SAGA Board Game Review

The furniture alone is worth the buy. The game is really a fun, quickshot I play with my kids when I'm too tired to run them thru a full D&D session.

I own this boardgame... Pros: + Single boardgame, amusing and easy to play + Despite its simplicity, it has its depth + Forniture in 3D + Many expansions Cons: - Maybe a bit expensive for the miniature's quality and the stuff it contains - Too many strait and dark looking tiles - Poor cards artwork. Many of them have the same ilustration

I would agree the artwork on the cards could be better in comparison to the games of today.

How big are the mini's compared to Zombiecide Black Plague mini's? Could I use those doors and furniture for other games like Zombicide?

Cesar Perez: the mini's are almost the exact same size. The zombicide BP are a little bigger but only noticeable once you set them side by side and we are talking a very small difference ( just by looking at them sitting on a table - you would think they are the exact scale). You can definitely use the game components with zombicide BP or other games that have the same scale as zombicide BP.

If i want to play Dungeon Saga solo, and I have the Adventurers Companion as well, do I have to pay through the party quests here or can I just get going with what's on the Adventurers Companion?

I know your comment is a year old lol but yeah, you can play entire campaigns with nothing but Uncharted Dungeons and Downtime. imho the Uncharted Dungeons system is the best thing about the Adventurer's Companion, it's awesome.

Does this game allow heroes to level up and find items?

yeah apparently it does allow them to level up. Pretty sure they can find items also. It's almost like a good alternative to MB's classic from the 1990's HeroQuest. I think I'm getting it, although you have to be careful as I know that Mantic have had quality control issues with components missing in the box, so it's best to open up the boxes and see if you have all the components as soon as the box arrives at your home.

Descent is much better, especially if you play it with "Road to Legend" APP.
