Dungeon Saga: Unboxing The Dungeon Delve!

Ever since i moved into a house with other creative types, I've been getting them into gaming (D&D, X-Wing, AoS starting soon), but all along i've told them about one of my all time favorite games (Warhammer Quest). I haven't been able to find all my parts for it, but this game could be the answer to my WHQ fix!

I have been active player of D&D and Heroquest and Advanced Heroquest for over thirty years. I have been collecting figures and playing several Warhammer type table top games for the same time. This is the best off the self dungeon crawl game I have seen in years. I have not aged well and my body will not allow me to sit around a table to game, so I have tried to develop a random dungeon crawl game which I could play then get up and rest my legs. I have acquired dwarf king's quest and infernal crypts my next purchase will be adventurers companion I am looking for valandor and galahir. thank you guys so much you are awesome

I do like the box looking like a book & I'm surprised no one else thought of that. Very good unboxing & I'm looking forward the unboxings of the expansion packs when they come out. Go get em in the adventure

Justin's magical beard should be in this game, one day it's there; then gone, and then it's back again! On a side note, this is a really good looking product with what appears to be an almost addictive game play. Mantic have hit the nail on the head with this one, can't wait to get my hands on a copy one way or another.

As a player of the heroquest game who as used it to introduce quite a few youngsters to the hobby, this Mantic game looks awesome and the various expansions look great. I will have to invest in this.

The zombie at 23:03 looks like it's falling over. Not sure if the mini is a little bent, but what looks to be the same sculpt later at 23:08 looks. If the next two are also zombies (23:30), then again, one of them looks like it's falling. Bent is easy to fix, but it has me a little concerned if the one-legged zombies might break off the base during shipping. Everything looks nice though. Most of the minis have a good amount of detail with a unique look. The tiles look like they'll work well. Definitely curious to see if this fits that gateway dungeon crawler like HeroQuest did.

Wow !! What a great way to get others into dungeon crawling, I've been a long time fan of heroquest and we still play it with the kids on game night. This is going to be a great way to expand the adventure and it will tie in to Kings of War very nicely

A beginning a a great legacy. It mirrors many contemporary games of dungeon crawling. It has some small nuance to its own game, but seems so fast to play, which is so necessary to so many tabletops. Can't wait to see how the world of Manica develops. Unlike so many boardgames, the sculptures of the pieces are meant to be illustrative to be as immersive as possible.

Dungeon saga looks amazing. I play Kings of war and dead zone and am waiting for warpath. I love the idea of painting up the miniatures for kings of war and using them for both. All in all meeting the guys at mantic at gencon and seeing their products and games first hand has swayed me into a huge mantic fan.

I'm going to agree with Warren on this one takes you right back to where it began. Except my first dungeon was the original red box D&D my Dungeon was draw on square paper anole from school maths books! So if your just starting with this product I'd just say you lucky, lucky sods!

Looks good, but I don't see why you would really need the clips to hold your tiles together. I'm sure that if you lay them down they will stay put. I would think that clips like that might, over time, tug and pull at the cardboard tiles, creating wear and tear on the ends where you clip them.

Mantic actually added these after many backers asked for them during the KS. So you don't have to use them at all but very cool that Mantic listen to their fans
