@@galloviking4766funny enough, because of the new update last night, throwing the fire flask could probably be the meta now to break petrification. It will do a minimum of 80 damage if they were to get out of the fire only taking 1 tick and reduce healing by 50% for 8 seconds.

Well, the game looks much more casual than Dark and Darker. Faster, nicer inventory, the ability to easily collect loot and quick battles.And of course, you can clearly see what is inherent in some MMO games - the harsh Middle Ages, but it looks like a super fantastic magical world, with all these colors. Not as “Dark” as dark and darker.

@@Silver_36 its not easy on classic mode solo, everyone has good gear and you need to fight your ass off to survive, i hate when people say this cuz it isn't true. the only thing thats easier is the pve.

@@_circuitry_4738well it would be the same in D&D if you play high roller on there. People will have really good gear and it’ll be difficult. But on here atleast the pve is much easier and the healing doesn’t take a whole 5 minutes

@@Silver_36 yea but to call the game easy just cuz it has a few more QOL changes to make pvp more enticing rubs me wrong, it's gonna turn people off the game cuz they're gonna feel they're wasting their time playing something "easy" but the game still poses a challenge. that's all. the game is not an "easy" game by any means compared to many other games out there

@@Silver_36 a final note from me would be that pve is definitely a little bit too easy and i shouldnt be able to kill bosses with basic gear even if it does end up in my death because i've attracted every player on the map and their moms.

Thanks for the tips dude I played Dark and Darker for the longest time and I'm loving the feel of this game I feel like rougue is really slept on as a melee class but I haven't seen high end pvp yet so I'm just waiting to get messed up by people who've been playing for a while.

I mean, even without the pvp games, you could easily reach this level at about 2-3 hours. And just like you said, once you learn important things like spawnpoints, chest areas etc. it would be even easier to earn gold. I like Dungeonborne to be honest. It has a certain feeling that Dark and Darker doesn't. I like both games, and would like to see both of them thrive as rivals. Thanks for the video!

Do you prefer short swords or daggers? While the backstab does a good bit of damage, the recovery time seems very long in comparison to the smoother swinging chain combos of the short swords.

@@SmurgleStreamdancer as Rogue it’s always daggers for me. You don’t want to be in a fight for very long at all. It’s all about getting as much damage as you can within a few seconds, leaving and repeating. You have no health or damage. You build speed to run in and then out. So always daggers for me

You really never run swords on rogue it leaves you in animation locks and against every other melee you will get severally punished most times. Better to just dagger/crossbow

Other things I would like to ask are the best way to kill a miniboss like a werewolf as a rogue, and how to overcome the lack of ranged attack. How do you best pull mobs?

@@SmurgleStreamdancer I actually have a video recorded on how to do the mini bosses. I just need to edit it and I’ll get it uploaded. Fortunately it’s very much the same for all of them. Just go in for 2-3 attacks and then move away before it hits you and then repeat. But I’ll get that video out when I can.

@@Silver_36 This advice worked! I killed the Cyclops by going in for a single back stab after each of its swings! It took pretty much the entire match and had anyone wanted to rat me I would have been totally vulnerable, but luck was on my side in that regard at least. Thanks again for your help!

Btw concerning ranged attack, rogue works quite well with a crossbow. It combos really well with the stealth and the petrify.

I'd love some pvp specific tips for a rogue. It seems like unless you literally just jump someone at the worst time possible, just about any class can melt you

Awesome idea. I’ll make a video on that when I can. But you are correct. 1v1 you always need the advantage of surprise. You also need to learn the weaknesses of classes and then abuse them.

Why do you use the ability that needs to charge and not the instant one?

Assuming you mean invisibility, it’s because it lasts much longer than the instant one and can make all the difference when seconds count

With little to no gear, I would recommend the long cast version cause you want to stay hidden and just loot. When you get some gear, I would recommend using the instant one so you can get your poison off easily

now one of tear 2 maps is closed and all high iLVL players are in one map. so, how to farm it now? I tried few times Castle lvl 2, but I got killed all the time with last 1-2 high violet items players on the map and I didn't see any portal at all before the smallest final circle and my death. farm Mifril as rogue now x100 times with green loot?

I unfortunately don't know why they made it like that. It's very annoying. What I would recommend is playing Sinners end casual. Try and go to the elite area. (Red Portal) and then farm in there and get greens/blues. Sell them and then buy gear. Try and use the gates. On the map are red and blues gates. You can outside the circle and go to a gate. You don't take much damage from the circle.

Great video , i earn quite much by following your guide thank you so much but the classic mode doesn't release right now so i just play casul mode . Rogue seems very week against mage or druid.Also the sword master and the death knight. i just get kicked ass by druid aka the dog and his the stupid tree thing. Do you have any tips about it please?

@@麥維他-t3h Yeah unfortunately the harder modes are locked for a couple days. In terms of PvP. You have to make sure you have the biggest advantage. You want to wait for them to engage with the AI or use abilities or if you can get a backstab. Anything you can use to get that advantage of them. Cause you’ll never win a straight up 1v1 with no advantage

Good video, thank you for your work but it doesn't help your point that you got several free pvp kills. The only important piece of knowledge we learned here is to use stealth to rob the boss and elites. The rest is basically "have a perfect run, in the highest difficulty to get gold" x)

i have about 5 hours into the game, been playing for 2 days now, my experience in this game, that its more fun and casual Than DaD tbh, i tried both but i think im hooked into DB now, im certain i didn't like DaD because i ran into cheaters, what kinda of barbain one shots a dude with full plate armour and max health, also the classes feels balanced, it's easy to get out of bad situation(for me), and so far fighting players is rough but fun, i'm currently just playing as a fighter, the class sorta fits me

While I appreciate this, I don't think this is a "Beginner's Guide". I didn't even know red portals existed in the game, and I keep taking too much damage and dying myself to goblin minions, which is why I searched for a beginners guide to rogue. I would love more to see your fighting styles and how you approach combat, but you skipped over all of those bits, so I didn't really learn much from that. Hope the feedback helps!
