I liked this video because it gave me a clear purpose to work toward. I got really lucky and have some green/blue gear (and some white even actually) that allows me to meet the dex and int thresholds EXACTLY. I then had my first dominant fight against a DK. He ran at me and I did what you did and comfortably killed him with my ~50-60% crit chance. He had a bunch of purples while I have 0, so the build definitely works. I would appreciate it if you could make a video going into detail on how to get dex, int, will up to the thresholds (which items should have which stats and how to obtain them) and which heirlooms should be upgraded to what quality level etc from the perspective of someone who doesn't know how to get there yet (someone without large amounts of money or successful other characters AKA a beginner). Like which items to go for first with which stats, do you just buy greens with random rolls until you get something useful (ideally show that gearing up process)? What is the minimum amount of money you need to have to build a basic cryomancer? Thanks!

i like fighter but problem with whirlwind is that everyone can just block 80-90% of the damage simply pressing right click , like i never kill people with whirlwind as a fighter , usually just smack them with longsword till they die

And it deals roughly the same damage as a SwordMaster's E skill (assuming they're going to perfect parry the last hit, which is super easy to do). At the very least let us cancel the Whirlwind early with a slight cooldown reduction afterwards.

in solos its pretty bad but trios or duos it forces part of the enemy team to block which is great for your team member to either isolate and kill the other guy or better yet, cause chaos and get a kill anyway on squishy backline mages

i feel like i cant never reach a cryo, it has to be incredibly bad and fail the 3 knifes to have a 10% chance of killing him but with 500 shield and more life than a warrior he can just kill me with the ice thingy

Sword or mace & shield. Use heavy attacks only, until you reach the cryo. This will keep your shield up, prevent them from hitting you with their dagger/sword slowing attack, and will propel you forward regardless of your movement speed. Once you reach them they have no getaway. I've been chewing through purple cryos on mace & shield DK and sword & board SM.

Cryomancer is only a yhreat if you are also playing caster. MnS and SnS dash can just be used tonignore storm. Curse is trucky but red pot kinda counters

@@alexborr1746 you talking about frost ite curse? Stonewall flask counters. If you're playing against a cryo using curse you either need to break los with a stone flask and reset or trap them with a stone flask and rush them down. Curse is hard to deal with

Make sure you're always casting with staff in hand for the bonus damage scaling. For some reason damage scales with the weapon in you hand and not both being equipt.

this is exactly why i advocate for crossbow on DK. People underestimate the crossbow and it's great for mage and druid engagements. a death knight spacing outside a treant's range just poking the druid forces them to either engage or run. just use cover to dodge the searing staff's burst dmg and use that time to reload between shots it does hurt not having a longsword but i expect them to nerf it at some point if not next week

You say your dagger adds 9% (but how from only 7 dex?), and the ring (maybe you had a different ring equipped?)... also not sure why the character screen crit% is not the same in the lobby as it is in game? @@jvarga The kit I was using in the gameplay clips was different from the one I had on during the build breakdown. So the dagger I was using in the gameplay clips had a random modifier that gave 9% crit chance, the dexterity just increases critical strike damage I think 😄

@@samroscoe944 if you want to get crit chance you can add crit chance as a stat to the heirlooms. You’ll want to get a staff and amulet heirlooms since those give you the most stats and then any piece of armor is fine. Boots by themselves actually give a ton of crit chance though, I think a blue pair will usually give you close to 40%. So I’ve started getting max damage increase stacks on kill on my heirlooms instead of crit chance and just focusing on hitting headshots when I can and usually do okay on soul energy :)

@@samroscoe944 for soul energy regen, ya want Dexterity. Craft these 3 heirlooms and enchant them. 1H Dex Sword - Crit chance stacks / Health stacks / skill Cooldown. Dex Amulet - Crit Chance stacks / Health stacks / intellect Boots - Dexterity / Crit chance stacks / move speed This will unlock the dex passive regenerating soul energy, then buy some greens with intel on them to hit intellect passive for frost bite damage.

I think the balance isn’t actually that bad but when people find something new and strong it takes people a couple of days to figure out how to play against it. For example, I can say with certainty that this cryo build won’t be as strong in a week even if it doesn’t get nerfed. It’ll still be strong but not as much :) But the game is definitely worth it and it feels nothing like dark and darker!

This game is maybe the worst pvp game ive ever played. There is no point in playing it right now, ur just a gear delivery for those broken classes. Especially as a rogue, which is probably the worst class after priest. And not only the is class balance completely insane garbage, but also many game mechanics like blocking, potions and fall damage. This game is great and has so much potential, but if this garbage balance could go even life and still be this horrible after months of betas, then there is no hope in those brainrotten devs. Sad af.
