Wow! Fizz is becoming quite an MVP. Previously he wasn't doing enough damage or kills I think. And now he's wrecking multiple Nolls (don't know how it's spelled) and completing jobs single-handed-ish I'm excited for more!

It's gnoll just like in the previous title. Though I'm kind of sad at how little the others, especially Morbos, ended up contributing in this particular segment.

@MorinehtarTheBlue4 жыл бұрын
That's the weird thing about 5E D&D. Subclasses, feats and spell selection make a class more fluid. I'm sure it was about the bit but Tim just assuming he knows is interesting strech for the character.
@varkesh4564 жыл бұрын
So much crazy fun in this episode i can't wait to see how it concludes in the next part. Also cool to see the professional side to fizz coming though...although when fizz vaugely described his alchemical expertise i was wondering if he was trying to say he was an alchocialic.
@MorinehtarTheBlue4 жыл бұрын
Too many addictions. He has to use intelligence potions to counteract the racial curse of the kenku. Which means he kind of needs the background to function. Frankily I wouldn't expect such a character to drink much at all from that perspective.
@CodaBlair3 жыл бұрын
@@MorinehtarTheBlue IMO Fizz running out of potion would probably completely horrifying to him because he had gotten used to being able to be his own person and not an essentially mindless creature and to realize that you're are about to run out of thhe potion and revert to that creativityless state would be horrifying which is why I think that Fizz should have been acting much more scared after Yee had restored the effects of the potion after removing them.

Quick note, and common point of confusion in D&D, but when you're doing alchemy you want to use alchemist's supplies; if you're proficient in those then it's just a case of deciding which ability to use (usually Intelligence) and then adding your proficiency bonus. Skills are for stuff you don't usually need tools for (though you can combine music instrument proficiency with performance proficiency to roll with advantage for example, but that's just up to the DM).
@MorinehtarTheBlue4 жыл бұрын
That's the thing that bothers me about that aspect of skills. My inclination is to cobble it all together though I do recognize how an extra set of bonuses would be too much. The fact that the tool proficiencies haven't been relevant for any of my characters means of never gotten any insight on the process. Though with a PHB I probably could due to read up on it. Thanks for the valuable tips though.
@haravikk4 жыл бұрын
@@MorinehtarTheBlue Oh yeah, the book's not that good at telling you how to actually *use* tools at all, had no idea myself either. Xanathar's Guide to Everything has a bit more information but neither book really clarifies it's just "pick the appropriate ability, and add proficiency to it for the tools".
