It’s wild how I saw the Helldivers bugs and me and all my D&D friends were like “damn that’s just Ankhegs”

I’ve never been so early to a video 😂 This is going to sound so dumb but I always binge Dungeoncast while I’m getting ready for work every morning. Best part of my day.

I'm pretty sure it's been said that they don't use their spray unless threatened because secretion means they have to empty their supply and thus won't be able to eat until it replenishes

Thanks for reading my comment (next episode: I also listen on Spotify) on the Olhydra episode, it was a reference to a sea shanty sung in the hanging scene in Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End.

Tarantula hawk is what the wasp is called. And Mantid females will sometimes eat the male bodies but do not always kill the males after mating.

the 1950s B+W ant movie is called "Them". Because... I guess that seemed cool back then?

I would run this creature without having object permanence so if the players had behind a rock, it would forget they were there

Damsel was a terrible movie. The fight with the dragon was so dumb. My wife was watching the movie and I sat down for two minutes and figured out the entire plot and guessed how they were going to end the movie and I was totally right it was extremely predictable.

Great content, but the shittest English accent ever for height and weight conversions. Coming from a Scot, that's something! Keep up the great DnD lore though 🙂
