Professor - I discovered Poe when I was 11/12. His horror is so visceral it really creeps me out. Small wonder I’d pick up HPL and friends, and King later. This video was delightfully low tech, and I think that’s a big part of its charm.

Did someone say Edgar Allen Poe?!? My mom read stories to me when I was younger by Edgar Allen Poe and they are some of my fondest memories. It is so funny how you can put in a lot of time and effort into something and it gets so little views and then you can throw something together in an hour and it gets more views. I have heard musical artists say the same thing when asked, "You had to know this was going to be a hit." and they say, "I have no clue what will or will not be a hit. I just make a song throw it out there and see what happens."

"I'm not a madman. Would a madman have spent countless hours adapting Poe into a video with minis and homemade terrain for youtube?" (okay, maybe...) Great work! I'd love to see a sequel. I always felt like this story was where Perry Mason''s writers learned to end all their episodes. Some poor guilty person can't bear it anymore and breaks down, confessing everything. Still, nothing beats Poe.
