This is one of the few scenes I heard for the first time and KNEW I HAD to animate/storyboard eventually. I always learn a lot from doing these and had a really great time.
Thanks a ton for all the kind words on my last animatic for this podcast as well!! I have read every single one and they fill my heart with joy. I have 2 more planned, both of which are 6+ minutes long, so I'm sure when the next one will be... I hope you enjoy this one though :D

I love every element of Glenn's body language here. With the prideful, lanky swagger he has starting out, coupled with him losing composure after every little hiccup, to him flailing his arms up from off-screen after getting cut. Hahah Brilliant work. Also Paeden's character design is perfect.

They've really never described Paeden more than his frame, but I've always imagained him as a little black boy with glasses. Still love this animation!

Same but without the glasses and just wearing a mouth mask. When he becomes Darryls dad, he stops wearing the mask and the sides of his mouth are scarred ans slit vertically. It'd be a cool visual representation.
