Luppercus I've only recently discovered this guy's channel, and I love most of his reviews. I don't mean to be mean, but yeah, I wondered about this myself. She's probably a nice person, (a friend of his, I assume.) but it was very difficult to follow her dialogue, because she kept...kind of stuttering & slurring. (no offense, truly. I know it's tough speaking a script in front of a camera, maybe she's just painfully shy) but maybe he should stick to solo reviews. Every time she spoke, it slowed down the humor a lot, and made it very hard to pay attention to anything else going on in the video. I've seen some unkind comments about people suspecting whether she's mentally impaired or something. >_< Case in point; KZbin can suck butt. If you even talk funny a LITTLE, people are gonna focus more on that than anything else. I should know, I get plenty of trolls convinced I'm a boy, & say that I sound fat & ugly. lol That shit bounces right off, but at least I speak clearly & confidently! If I stutter during recording, I do another take.

True, not all his videos are good, but most of them are funny, although exagerated. 2:40 yes, slaves... that can wander around and do basically whatever they want including start guilds and have professions.... the term should have been peasants, which is basically like every fantasy setting ever, non-magicals are basically trash and unless you are some form of nobility you or someone of exceptional ability, you are stuck as a basic peasant unable to affect the government or world around you... kind of like real life. if you weren't a noble, royal, war hero, or wealthy you were essentially stuck as little more than a slave for... basically the entire history of the human race. p.s. there are dozens of settings where this is also true... like forgotten realms for dnd or Thedas for DA. 3:25 the creation of a magic item, especially something that by p&p would fall under the wondrous item rules, is a huge feat that takes even high level characters weeks getting the time and materials together. it would be very appropriate for some minor "after these 3 weeks of working 8 hours a day on this one thing it's finally done" celebration, even if the rod ends up not being powerful enough to work. 4:00 which all depends on the setting in which you are playing. P.S. being "later than jurassic park" doesn't mean a fucking thing... jurassic park had more than double the budget and have you ever actually gone and looked at the CGI vs the practical effects, the cgi in jurassic park is pretty bad, sure not as bad as d&d2000 but at least this movie has budget as an excuse. 4:35 except tiamat, bahamut, asgorath, pretty much every immortal or god of the dragons, as they have pretty complete control over dragons... at least the ones within their domains. 5:20 again, another "setting" issue. you are the type of DM who gets upset that a player wants to be a Kinder in eberron because they are a dragonlance only race aren't you. p.s. basic chemistry, sodium, potassium, calcium... there are plenty of elements and thus compounds that will cause water to ignite or explode, and that's ignoring the concept of magic. 10:15 "useful for the first time all movie" except for the part 30 seconds ago where he beat down the guards and gave the group enough time to escape into the sewers... .17:10 there is no reason an elf wouldn't appear to be old as they age. Unlike tolkien elves, D&D elves have life spans with expected ends, they would thus age similar to all other races over the course of that life span. (this is why there are rules for elves at middle, old and venerable age with decreased physical stats) 17:30 setting. again. 23:20 it's not uncommon for lost characters to be resurrected at the end of a campaign, often through nothing more than DM fiat or divine intervention... so not bullshit.

@NoESanity6 жыл бұрын
1, why wouldn't an elf be brown? sure they have fair skin, but melanin can still be fair. hate to break it to you, but anything that would cause black humans would also cause black elves. (not to mention she could just be a half elf (or not pure elf) with a black human ancestor) 2, yes elves do visibly age. while it is much slower, in every setting for DnD and just about every other fantasy world. In middle earth Tolkien was a bit contradictory saying that elves do age but so slowey that an entire lifetime would pass before any noticeable difference could be seen, while also saying they completely stop physically aging after 100... either way this isn't middle earth, and dnd elves have a set lifespan, thus do age.

Elves cannot even TAN! 2) Snails is the BEST Character in the movie - No idea why he gets so much stick other than that he's a Wayans brother and it was in at the time to hate on them! 3) Elves do age just all at once after like 600+ years so Tom Baker's Sylvan Elf Druid is in his 7th Century. 4) What has Hollywood got against Religion? No Clerics in this movie {no I'm not counting Tom Baker's Druid}, The Cleric in the 2nd Movie decides to try and turn either a White Dragon or a Dracolich {I still can't tell which} and either way that's IMPOSSIBLE which he'd know! And in the 3rd Movie we have Pelor deciding that his Paladins need to do an Evil Act before they can get their powers - WHAT THE PUCK HOLLYWOOD!?! 5) Don't know why you keep saying Ridley's Lvl 1 as he clearly has to be at least Lvl 7 and probably a fighter/rogue Dual-Class rather than pure rogue. DDoor is a Lvl 4 Spell so Marina is also at least Lvl 7! OK Here goes my attempt at giving these characters levels.... Profion: Lvl 18 Wizard Damodar: Lvl 10 Fighter Ridley: Lvl 1 Fighter/6 Rogue {Dual-Class} Marina: Lvl 7 Wizard Snails: Lvl 7 Rogue The Dwarf: Lvl 7 Barbarian 6) That final scene was an absolute JOKE!
