1:05:00 Mel gets the +2 AC from Rob's bonus from the fortune card or whatever he got? So Mel dodged the attack!

I think I said this on the solo video... and I haven't played these games, so I don't know exactly how it works in the board game version. BUT in TTRPGs in general leveling up is the key to increased power, hit points, and defense. So If the game lets you level up with the same 5XP that you use to cancel the effects of some of the encounter cards you may want to look at what you gain from those level ups. If it is more expensive, then hopefully it provides greater benefits. Now if you all don't continue with these games it really doesn't matter, but the benefits of leveling up MIGHT make the game more interesting. Love the cannel and the content!

OK, I just looked up the rules for leveling up and discovered it takes a role of a nat 20 and forgoing your hero phase by the rules as written... so disregard my comment. I did see a lot of variants to make leveling up easier, which might make the game more fun, so if you do decide to play this any more you may want to look into them. Make the game as fun for you and the team as possible!

Ok, I just to the point in the video where Mel actually leveled up by the rules as written. So maybe none of this mattered. Hope you are enjoying this teaser in to TTRPGs.

Named tiles are called Quest tiles. You should not use those unless the adventure specifically calls for them. More adventures please.

I don't think you are correct. What page in the rulebook tells you the tiles are different? Reading through this thread makes me think I'm doing it correctly: boardgamegeek.com/thread/574230/are-special-dungeon-tiles-used-stack-tiles-you-dra

@@RobsGamingTable The specifically named tiles are called Quest tiles.(pg. 4 bottom paragraph). Plus, i think it's more thematic to not use the named tiles.(i mean how many times do you want to go through an Arcame Circle? lol.). That is the way we always did it, but looking at the examples on pgs. 7-8, i think you are correct. As long as your having fun and doing more videos of this system.
