same tho, i actually had a dream where i met him, and he thought my rose quartz( aka love gem) necklace was a magical amulet so naturally i complied and gave it to him since i had a spare (i've had a crush on him for years so in the dream it was difficult for me not to blush but turns out he liked me back) he claimed it was the most powerful stone he had ever encountered then hugged me and made sure no one else would touch me it was hella weird

technically speaking the inclusion of Sci-Fi aliens in a fantasy setting isn't actually all that strange. The spell jammers is add on to classic D&D, Final Fantasy had a floating fortress that had robots. And in many other works include the idea to suggest that this mystical world is actually post apocalyptic world, hense the common zombie monster to name one idea. Ultima 1-3 had some sci fi elements in them heck even the early concepts for Legend of Zelda was to have Link travel into the future and that the Triforce are actually microchips for a super computer. Plus when you stop to think about it, THEY are aliens themselves, they are kids from a world where cars and rollercosters are a thing.

The original D+D (brown booklet) supplement "Greyhawk" featured SF elements such as a deserted spaceship orbitting the planet laden with interesting doo-dads if you could just get there. One of the earliest novels mixing the genre was "The Warlock In Spite Of Himself" in the early 1970s.

The action was pretty good and the humor was exceptional IMO, which isn't always the case with every episode. Especially enjoyed the surprise of that monster out of cell 13 manhandling Presto at 14:25, who it seems to me usually escapes hand to hand melee. I guess him usually escaping melee makes sense since he is in the Wizard role. Yeah, I enjoyed this episode, including the sci-fi element.

there's a set of books, (NOT THE GAMEPLAY KIND) that tells the full story of these kids. problem is it seems to have fallen into the category of 'rare finds' since i cant seem to track down an author or ISBN number to help me out. And just typing in 'Dungeons and dragons' doesn't seem to help either as those freaking rule-books keep dominating the search. Anyone think they can lend a hand?

Six books following the Choose Your Own Adventure format, from the point of view of one of the children. Six separate stories were created, each focused on a separate character (though in the books Eric was replaced by his brother, who did not appear in the cartoon series). Included illustrated stories of differing quality. The first of which included eight original adventures whilst the second only included three as well as a re-telling of the episode 'Eye Of The Beholder' renamed as 'Eye Of The Watchman'. Marvel Summer Special 1987: Prison Without Walls. Published in the United Kingdom. A simple re-telling of the episode 'Prison Without Wall' which included original artwork drawn for the book. "Donjons et Dragons": Published in France, a six-book collection that re-tells some of the most popular episodes. Wow! Erics Sheild had a glitch. That or a weak spot. Instead of hitting the shield square on, you simply do what the Orc did. Hit it on the side, which caused it to be ripped out kf Eric's arm. I giess the writers really wanted to set up the black belt thing for laughs so they got rid of hos Shield for a second. Imagine the bounty on those weapons? As soon as the Sheild went flying Orcs would have went right for it and then ran to Venger to claim the reward.

500 Middle aged. That's exactly how things use to be before the flood in Noah's day. Most lived to be 900 + years old. I'm sure children grew up around the same time frame as children do today & then aging slowed way down. Many today think that 900 + years is impossible, not understanding people aged much SLOWER in those days so a 500 year old person would look like a 50 year old today. And reason is clear why we die much faster today because of SIN & GOD said our days would be fewer & His Spirit would not always dwell among us like He once did.
