A 15-20th level campaign ending with a confrontation with Primus has really been on my mind lately.

@@nicthedm7650 Yeah I was wanting to put together some time or planes related plot point in my current 10-15th level campaign that would draw the ire of The Inevitables and spring them into a conflict. I think Primus is the perfect god to stat out and allow the PCs to kill because, hey, there's always another to take his place. Kill the current Primus to supplant him before he can complete a "factory reset" on the Prime Material.

They need to make Primus an official Warlock Patron. Maybe call it the Machina Patron, where the Warlock is in a pact with the current or original Primus. It would have a lot of abilities that are about balance. Like they could have an ability that allows them to change any roll to 10, turning a 1 or 20 into a 10. Another being summoning spectral modrons that can restore a targets health to half its max. Heck the capstone ability for this Patron could be an area wide Balancing where the health of every target in the zone will have their health reduced or retored to half its max value.

This sounds really cool, I could totally see roleplaying the character as well.

@@nicthedm7650 Another ability I thought up is that the Warlock could, if they roll low on a damage roll, can instead deal average damage. Of course this would be an ability that would have maybe a few uses equal to the Charisma mod before a long rest is needed.

@@nicthedm7650 it also plays off if the Clockwork Sorcerer bloodline as well. One may have been born on Mechanus the other in a pact with Primus.

I want Primus in D&D 5e I know he is dead, but I would love to see him in future content.

Well technically Primus is still in 5th edition. The original Primus is dead but the Modron heirarchy has it so if a Primus dies a Secundus takes its place and gains it's form and abilities. But according to earlier editions the first Primus's (The one killed by Tenebrous) consciousness still exists.

@Nic the DM Yeah I totally forgot about that when I was making that comment 😅 To my knowledge he's not in any of the books I've read in D&D 5e. The Modrons are there but I have seen anything specifically on Primus

@@austa10 Yeah. I really hope they make aa module with the Modrons. Maybe one about the one Secundus who betrayed them and fled with a few thousand subordinates. That has loads of 5e module potential

Even beyond avatars, a new Primus is made almost immediately after the last one is gone. And if I recall correctly Primus doesn't send avatars often if ever, (though each world and campaign can have it's own views on that). You've gotta bring the fight to Primus... Which isn't really a good option but it'd be fun to run.
