They did technically listen. They did get rid of almost all Final Fantasy and the story, while not good, was simpler than previous titles. I blame Birth by Sleep for everything in terms of the fall of the right combat and the still somewhat comprehendible story. After that the gameplay and plot just became too convoluted for its own good. As for gameplay: Eh? It’s better than BBS and 3D, but WAY worse than 2FM and too floaty and reliant on flashiness to be at least on par with 1. I personally still enjoyed the game (WAY better when I played it again on Crit Mode), but after this, I seriously hope that they basically just forget all of the Xehanort business and make 4(?) a soft reboot.

I am deaf by choice, sadly, and I must use the subtitles to enjoy Dunkey's videos. I would like to report a mistake in the otherwise stupendous English subtitles. At around 8:19 of the video it reads "This game will be better than Knack 2". It is surely a mistake or a jest, yet I find it extremely offensive not only as a trans-deaf person, but as an avid gamer.
