I was 7yrs old when the plane crashed in 1970 an I live in Illinois but my mom was from west Virginia an I remembered it on t.v. news an how hard it hit my mom even when she wasn't from Huntington still from west Virginia it hit the whole state

Thanks! It was fun having Marshall in the MAC! Marshall produced some great MAC games and excellent MAC players (Chad Pennington, Doug Chapman, Byron Leftwich, and someone else who I don't think that I have to mention). After winning four straight MAC titles, Marshall thought they had outgrown the MAC and would become a major college football superpower, so they left, and it didn't quite work out.

+StraightFashionMan probally randy moss... There were many. Well we went on a slide for a long time. But we had a terrible coach Snyder . We were one game away like two years ago from a BCS bowl though. We got a decent schedule this year. Hopefully this is the yr we go over the big hump.
