Did you stick with a 150mm rear width and a 110mm front width, as the stock tires are? Or did you size up to a 160 rear, 120 front?

@@recklesstoboggan I went with the stock tire sizes. From what I remember, the 160 wasn’t in stock at the time. Let me know if you size up as I’d like to know how they fit.

@yamahapilot Yah, I'd really like to size up, not there just yet, but maybe next summer. And the Mutants are the tire I've had my eye on the most. The Husqy dealer here said 160r 120f should fit.

@@recklesstoboggan Cool. I ride everyday and will done with these Mutants by summer 2025. I'll size up then and let you all know how they fit/feel. So far I absolutely love these tyres and looking forward to see how they handle sleet and snow.

160s would look better but from what I’ve seen the smaller 401/390s handle better with the 150s. They’re more agile and the slightly smaller contact patch doesn’t really make a difference with 45 hp. They do fit though, the wider tire looks great in person.

One thing's for sure, the 2024 Vitpilens don't look and feel like Vitpilens at all. Ever considered putting on the Euro/Asian signal lights? Love my 22 Vitpilen but I hate how they made ASEAN models have shorter suspensions to make the ride height shorter. It made the ground clearance even worse.

When you say Euro/Asian signal lights, do you mean the LED lights? If so, then yes, I did consider putting them on, but then realized that even though the LED lights would be brighter, I felt the stock lights suited the bikes retro vibe better.

@@yamahapilot Yeah, the skinny ones. Haha. I see, I get your point. This bike can be old retro or kinda of like a neo retro. I guess I belong to the neo vibe.

@@enshongmiranda ‘Neo Retro’. That’s a cool way to think of it, actually. In that scenario then it totally makes sense mixing old with new.
