My wife I just returned from a tour of norther Ireland and we had a quick stop at Dunluce Castle. We were very lucky and had a nice sunny day. However we only got to spend a half hour there. So thanks for this video because I wanted to learn more about this beautiful area

This Dunluce Castle is absolutely majestic and it is an amazing sight to be able to see. I loved getting to know about different places'' history and Ireland is definitely full of it and so seeing such sites are knowledgeable and very enlightening. I also loved how the guide gave so much interesting information about the castle, and I find it interesting how they drank from the river back then but they didn't know that it was the bacteria that made it sick. The world has certainly gone so far. JL3

Lords and ladies gathered nightly, in the great hall of the king, Bread and meat and wine did flow, bards would play and poets sing. McDonald was a chieftain bold, who dwelled in Dunluce with his clan, Safe from ships upon the ocean, and from raiders on the land. There he ruled for many years, for Ulster was his wide domain, Many tried to conquer him, and many men have died in vain. Dunluce castle fell to no man, sword, or pike, or cannon ball, Roving clans or Spanish foeman, Dunluce stood against them all. Dunluce castle fell to no man, sword, or pike, or cannon ball, Roving clans or Spanish foeman, Dunluce stood against them all.

This was a great video. I watched a second time on my computer because my phone screen was too small. Amazing. I don't believe in ghosts, but you can just imagine the people walking along the walls and warming themselves near the fireplaces. Even the hens roosting in the rafters. Such a beautiful place. Dunluce is one of the most picturesque and romantic of Irish Castles. With evidence of settlement from the first millennium, the present castle ruins date mainly from the 16th and 17th centuries. It was inhabited by both the feuding McQuillan and MacDonnell clans. Historical and archaeological exhibits are on display for public viewing. JL23
