Police have no idea what they are walking up on when going into a traffic stop. Its so dangerous. Regular people think its so easy and dont understand what they have to deal with. Any day could be there last trying to protect people and doing there job

You know what sucks about suing any branch of government? It's not their money. Suing and winning $500k is basically a tax refund. Not saying people shouldn't do it, it's just not the governments money.

You guys are so right ! Just comply with the cops orders to avoid any escalation. The side of the road isn't where you need to argue about what happened. Do that in court if necessary !

The first officer had no clue that ATF was planning a takedown. He was just pulling the guy over for speeding and had no clue that this guy was a gun smuggler. He never had a chance. All the federal agents were not even in the area bc they were set up to do further down the road. He and the criminal were relaxed and having a conversation. The cop wasn’t seeing all the red flags 🚩. He didn’t have a clue that this man was DANGEROUS and it cost him. Had he been aware of an operation to take down a gunrunner he would have waited for backup. Instead ATF had issued a “be on the lookout for a white truck “ they sent this man to death bc they didn’t follow protocol which resulted this officer being shot multiple times and dying on the side of the road all alone. 😢

Another comment I have…. My dad the best thing he ever did for me as a young man was to say always comply the police are the biggest gang in the country they will stop you by any means just accept you were caught doing something you shouldn’t have and fight it in court. It’s not worth your life or the officers or the public around you.

@22:01 @22:01 In situations where there is a known history, such as in this case, involving a Veteran with a combination of PTSD, manic episodes, roommate conflict, etc., it would have been beneficial to have more immediate interventions in place sooner, whether that be based on dates or per this video during the first two calls to the residence. *OBVIOUSLY their hands are tied legally, I get that. However, there should be some work around *to a defined extent.*

Makes me wonder if that first officer was trying to expose some kind of corruption in the department or knew something they didn't want him to know. If the video narration is correct it seems very suspicious to send a lone officer into a dangerous situation like that unless they were trying to keep him quiet.

Apparently, being an officer in the U.S. isn't as hard as you might think. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics being a police officer doesn't even make in the top 25 most dangerous jobs in America - behind jobs like loggers, truck drivers, construction workers, aircraft pilots, sailors, roofers, and farm workers. This goes to the fact that people in general aren't as violent as the media portrays or as is perceived by people due to overexposure.
@andy1181-l3m14 күн бұрын
Written by people who have no way of knowing. Police dont have to only deal with murderers and criminals. They have to deal with mental illness, they have to see dead bodies and sometimes children, they have to hear about sexual abuse, they have to tell parents and family thier child or loved one is dead…theres so many more little things people tend to forget
@DarthMaul-rt9nk12 күн бұрын
Wdym people arent as violent. You just watched people be that violent. Second if all i want the link to these stats. What you also forget is hard and dangerous is different and there are many factors which make a job hard or dangerous

If you walking upon a car and don't know who is in it or what they might do. The officer dropped the ball. Suppose to go to the drivers side and have the gun pulled and ready. Definitely wouldn't approach from the passenger side

The right to search because a cop ''smells pot'' is wrong to me. I dont smoke or drink, i have no record, and am always polite. Ive had cops say they smell pot just so they can search me and my vehicle. The problem is cops can make it up because theres no way to prove they did or didnt smell pot. With that said, what that guy did was awful. I think if a vop says they smell pot and theres nothing in the car they should loose qualified ammunity and be personally liable.
@huntriel98415 күн бұрын
I have said it before, I will say it again. Insane these cops ride alone. Overhere always 2 in a car. 1 cop on the radio and navagation, the other on driving (with 2 hands on the wheel). I'm not saying these cops would have lived, but who knows. The first dude walking out with the rifle would have bin spotted by the 2e officer for sure. Don't give me the, we don't have money for that many cops. Than send out less cars! 2 cops in 1 car.

So you hate all cops cuz theres a few bad ones? Police are human and humans arent perfect. Theres always gonna be bad cops just like theres always gonna be bad people. If you’re looking for a police force with no bad cops you’re asking for the impossible. Theres more good cops than bad. Theres HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of police interactions that happen everyday. Just because you wanna focus on the tiny fraction of bad interactions it doesnt take away the good ones. This world wouldnt survive without law and order and you and I wouldnt be alive without police enforcing the law wether you realize it or not. Be thankful there are people brave enough to do that job cuz I sure the hell wouldnt want to. Its alot easier for people like you judging videos in the safety of your home while these guys are out risking thier lives on the front line
