@@edi4ever1 the zero is much better. Problem with qkzhbb is when there are too many things happening hard to determine where the sound is coming. Zero is insanely good it's hard to explain. The sound is quieter but much better in terms of locating sound.

I actually just got my ps5 back and haven’t messed around with the settings. Typically I like straight stereo. An amp and dac would benefit the Audio, but it is likewise a great experience to be able to just grab a pair and throw them into the controller while taking a hit in resolution

@@showkatnawaz1685 I was initially using it on my Drop O2 dac/amp but now I'm just using my PCs on-board dac because the impedance is so low. Very easy to drive, no difference in audio quality and I can get it to high enough volumes just fine

i would just like to give my thanks for this video. I was really torn between the two and wanted to make an informed buy as quick as possible as the headphones im using give me head pain because of my glasses. i eventually ended up ordering the hexa as i feel that ill personally prefer this sound signature more and while it has not come yet, im super excited to start gaming with them. i obviously here am giving up some sound stage for comfort in comparison to my over ear headphones, but that's a tradeoff im more than willing to make. thanks for helping me make my decision on which budget iem to go for as these were basically both my top 2 from the research i was doing.

@@pink1337 oh they definitely lived up to my expectations. i still use them daily for gaming as well as music listening and the direction sound is great. as for music, i listen to a pretty varied selection of music so the hexas balanced nature really fits that. the hexas are definitely the safer option as it's pretty neutral (with slight warmth), but if you play more immersive single player games, i would probably sway towards the zeros. i really don't think you could go wrong with either though so don't sweat it, good luck on choosing.

@@dungtien4375 so far so good! I haven’t had any problems with qc so far but I wish the cable was a little thicker (for aesthetic purposes only). When it comes to sound quality, it didn’t let me down either. I used to main a hyperx cloud II (with the stupid 7.1 off) and im happy with what the hexa provides. Ofc its not as good as the hyperx in terms of soundstage (you can only go so far with small drivers) but its good enough i’d say. I gotta say, sometimes I get a little bit confused with directional audio but its not a common occurrence and in most situations I can tell where the enemy is coming from. Comfort wise, the hexas are good but could be better. The eartips that come with the iem weren’t good for me, as I would feel pain after around 2-3 hours of use. To solve that problem, I bought the SpinFit W1’s (for around 20 usd I think) and never really had a problem anymore. If you’re coming from an over ear headphone like me, you might have a little trouble to adapt, but it certainly is doable and once you get used to it, you probably won’t miss the over ears so much. Overall, I think the hexa is great. The neutral sound signature allows you to appreciate different music genres without feeling fatigued. The soundstage is great for tac fps (I’ve never used it for BRs) and the iem itself looks awesome imo (that’s the main reason i got it lol). If you have any other questions lmk

@@shisuiuchiha2159 I actually bought and tried them for siege, but they were horrible😭 Like the sounds were cluttered and I was able to hear the whole map (not in a good way) I bought the Dunu Kima after returning the Hexas and the Kimas were way better at positioning, imaging and directional audio. So if you can shell out the extra $30 it’s worth it

You mentioned between the three that the Zero was probably the best for tactical shooters, does that include stuff like Tarkov or Siege? Trying to pick between the 3 and can't decide. I tried the Razer Moray's but they seemed just "okay" for Tarkov and kind of tinny, but for siege they worked okay.

i don't know if i should go with the zero or the HEXA (or maybe something else with more budget), at the moment i have IE300(i'll refound them), KZ zs10 pro and dt 990 pro: for the IE300 i had to do an EQ the bass would have destroyed me(in game), the dt 990 pro are strange (i have difficulty to split the noise and the micro sound like reloading ecc ) and for the KZ zs10 pro i have no comment (i don't dislike them)

The irritation somewhat goes away the more you use them. But you really just need to find a pair that is suited for your ear canal. Just need to find the tight tips and nozzle size that works best for you

@@Chill_Phactor sometimes the tips themselves can make or break an IEMs comfort. I have several IEMs that weren't comfortable at first, but once I found the right tips I can wear them for hours. I'd say you can experiment with buying different third party eartips, sometimes an IEM's shape can also affect the tip sizes that can work for you, I have pairs that works well with small sizes, and I have pairs that works well with medium. A safe choice for tips that you can try out would be spinfits with their cp100s and W1s.

@@Chill_Phactor For me most provided tips don't work very well. With a few exceptions being the moondrop springtips that came with the Chus, and Raptgo Hook's (Both of which are also sold separately). Some third party ones that work for me are the spinfits that I mentioned before, Final audio type-e, Softears ultraclears, Azla Xelastecs and Azla Earfit lights. My general recommendation is to start off with the Spinfits first, they don't affect the sound of an IEM too much and a lot of people find them comfortable, I prefer the new spinfit W1s over the more expensive Azla Xelastecs too.

Just got my Dunu Kima. For me after my Beyerdinamics DT 990 PRO, the Kima has a way more harsh soundtage. I wanted to change, because my head hurts after a longer period of gaming. Using a FIIO Ek 10 dac for my 990 Pro, and i can pinpoint everything ingame and clear sound with enough bass. Kima is so harsh, maybe is not for me. Maybe a more bass heavy IEM would be better for me.

The latest COD has issues with audio prioritisation when lots of things are going on. So doesn't matter how good your audio gear is... quite frequently there's no audio for footsteps/doors opening when there's a lot of audio happening at once.
