@Flarei mon not really the brawler stride uses soul and also you dont farm soul using the legion skills in this deck so using pheonix more than once is more or less impossible

I can't wait for set 2 to come Global definitely building all the decks for NN and BT, a shame you're not doing the Maiden Of deck and fight but these are just as great, I've been wanting to play duos in a bit more of a fun mix of aggressive and defensive rather than just the pure stall Nemuel since I find it to be a bit boring if you play too often, and I love Lauris too bad she wasn't that good later in G being outclassed by other decks but who knows zero might do it differently

The best Duos had in offensive/defensive was their on release combo of break ride Reit/Meer with Darling and Peace and having Syr Darya commense poke of doom while you plus hard from your peace engine. Sadly Duo was too unfocused with its support down the line and now they're a mess with no sign of a TCG fix in sight (lest they announce/reveal duos in a future V collect or Premium Collect that fixes all their problems (it only took 3 cards in V to fix Premium Prism)

@@tylerclapp9422 As a BT main, I've practically been mostly disappointed for what BT got in both Clan Selection and V collection so far, I hope in the future ones we get some actual support for some of the newer decks they made in the last set or support older decks like Pacifica/Coral or actually give us retrains like they do for every other clan

@@_simplylink_ i would actually prefer Duos to get cards to make them relevant again in premium or at bare minimum have generically good cards that have the Duo name to make the deck more viable. Considering every other archetype returned in Twinkle Melody except Duo really left a very sour taste in my mouth, especially when they gave Duo's play style to a generic boss and stopped V series after setting a potential V-series Duo play style with Nectaria.....

@@tylerclapp9422 Not every archetype is out, Lauris and Shizuku are still pending and Chouchou technically was never brought back since Tirua doesn't even function like a Chouchou so there's still quite a bit of wait and competition to see who gets retrained as much as I love Duos, but also we have way too many decks in BT right now and generic support is nice and all but I wanna see more dedicated support in these V Collections so that's why I want them to support the decks we already have before making new ones again

@@_simplylink_ Aqua herself buffs melody as a straight up free, bounce a rear on call and draw 1 disc 1 Lauris/Harmony in general is generic really only needing cards that can perform free bouncing early game or clear themselves off the board to free up slots, ironically alot of the Eve support does that. That being said tho i would love to see Lauris return. Same. Could be said with Sedna and Shizuku, shizuku being primarily Harmony anyway so she falls under the same "anything that can clear a spot", bounce for free early, or help search for G3/Cycle G3s. Plenty of cards do that in V already (wouldnt be opposed for a better G3 or even G2 Shizuku however in a V series collection Tirua still has Chouchou name and is a G3 with plent of recent cards from Lyrical Melody to help proc the "when a rear guard is tucked" as Fanfan, Clenes, and Katya are all Tirua focused with ChouChou names without the need to see ChouChou tucked or bounced. The name also easily synergizes with Lapria and her own Stride evolution. Duo have literally nothing as the previous R and D team had put themselves in a corner and gave the subclan absolutely no wiggle room for new card synergy. The literal same was the problem in Prism but, wouldnt ya know it, they released the Image team im V series and gave us a non Duo Meer that doesnt even work with her Duo counterparts on top of giving us two generic bosses that are too slow and piece reliant to be considered even remotely playable. Ironically Zero Duos got buffs the TCG duos needed super fucking badly... i just call BS especially since Nectaria being a G4 cucked the Priani set up I had been anticipating to Make Duo relevant again since Priani searches a *Grade 3* Duo soecifically for her superior ride skill, and at rest at that. EVERLASTING Reit having skill text wording allowing for an interesting combo with a potential new card and the fact Duo never even got a stride break despite nearly everyone getting one just was such a fucking low blow... dont even get me started on the fact that they disnt even bother giving Duo retrained V series Legion units like the other clans *pun pun*

Unless the deck you’re playing already draws a lot, like OTT, draws are always better due to finding pieces and actually being useful when damage checked

because they're bad defensively and most decks need hand to function properly unless they have built in draw

@@Rychu_Otaku crits are no longer really bad defensively assuming it's just the g0 crit and when you draw into it it's a filter which is decent. The problem is that you want more g3s outside of the 4 of heal guard because g0s aren't 1 card stride fodders. There is also the issue of decks having on hit effects such as Mystery Flare that checking the crit can result in the inability to use their effects anymore and potentially losing you the game in the case of Mystery Flare.

​@@dattebayo822 They've improved with the new G0 Crits but for most of the time it's genrally a hinderance rather than a help to deal extra damage. Also yes, on hit abilities can screw you over too if you flip a crit and you want the ability to activate and it gets denied.

Maintaining hand advantage in zero is much more difficult than tcg because drive checks dont go into hand. Also with the hand size limit you are incentivised to call cards from hand so as to not over draw and the way intercept works, you also need to put down units to clear their front row just to get a swing at their vanguard. So you need to maintain a good hand to play the game or you'll run out of cards in hand very soon. Its why so many vanguard restand ability draw you cards (to compensate for their costs) and even stride gives you a draw on summon. Crits and stands while nice situationally just dont work as well in zero yet compared to draws. Unless your deck is naturally good at generating card advantage, you are better off not bothering with crits/stands (unless they have bonkers effects). Also crits can screw you up if your vanguard has an on hit skill and it proc their pg early
